Excellent. There's nothing there that anyone with a brain could object too. Also, really great video by Sanjay Gupta, MD on YouTube. It would be nice if the rw's would actually learn about what they are so adamantly against but read the post ... They are still refusing to do that.
Problem.
It redefines the meaning of the word "Insurance". Now it's a benefit.
Insurance is something you buy just in case you have an accident or need whatever the insurance provides. It's not designed for everyone to benefit from it. Millions of people paying fees into a fund that covers only those who eventually need it the most. It's not designed for everyone to benefit from it. (What will stop Congress from stealing from that fund like they do Social Security and Medicare)
And all of the "fees" and "penalties" in the bill you ignored have to be called "Taxes" or the whole damned thing is unconstitutional.
The whole thing forces everyone to have to buy something......and the federal government doesn't have the power to do that in the constitution. They do have to power to raise taxes however. So everything they charge has to be a tax.
BTW, there's nothing in the bill that says the government is providing health care. They do force somebody else to do so under ridiculous conditions......and the intention is to force them out of business.
Then a few years down the road the real taxes will hit us once single-payer is in place. Eventually the government will have your bank account and they'll take out what they need and leave you maybe 30% of you earnings.......like they do in Germany.
