Obamacare operator who took Sean Hannity's called, has now been fired

not to mention that it's way too convenient

firing the person would obviously lead to backlash from the right, so why the hell would you do it?

it makes no real sense

<Liberals don't care. With them it's all about maintaining the narrative.

A narrative in which they fire anyone that disagrees with them? Sounds like a great way to get elected!

Again, not buying it.

$600 Million on a website that doesn't work and you don't believe that there is incompetence in managing call centers?

These bureaucrats have never actually run anything but government. That's the problem.
There's incompetence to a point.

Democrats would still do anything to keep the public opinion of themselves high so...again...doesn't really make sense to fire a person just cause they talked bad about you.

I'm suspicious of this. Something feels off about it.

Do all the O-care operators give their full name over the phone?

Also, I find it mildly suspicious that they didn't tell her that there can be no contact with the media whatsoever; if they didn't want her to have contact with the media, it would make sense to tell her that before it happened, y'know?

Consider me skeptical until some proof is shown beyond just the word of Hannity and his possible crony.

The Hannity Show archives available on the show's website should have a pod cast of the call.
Why on earth would a prerequisite to employment include "no contact with the media"...
I believe this woman has a case for a wrongful termination suit.
Depends on which state.

I'm not denying that the call happened. I'm questioning whether the call was staged or not.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of the prerequisites was no contact with the media. Politicians are very particular about what they want people to hear from their employees.

re: Wrongful termination suit. Taking the assumption this was real, let's use an anecdote. Let's say you owned a company that sold apples over the phone. If one of your operators went around telling people that the apples were rotten and that they sucked and that no one likes their apples, would you keep them hired?

When you say "depends on which state", are you answering the name question?

American citizens call for help in achieving an insurance goal, operators are hired to help hose people; the operators are not hired to play political games with Hannity or others that have the political goal of destroying the program. Hannity played a cheap political game and used up time other callers might have needed and the end result someone is fired.

He should've fired Hannity, obviously. WHY CANT OBUMMA DO ANYTHIN' RITE? :(

They probably fired her because she was black

Yes, because Obama secretly hates blacks.

instead of throwing the poor black women under the bus

Really, if Papa Obama would have made a call out
I'm sure they would have hired her back
and the MSM would have gloried him even more.

Just some of his supporters

As I said on the other thread on this subject.

Any job in the country, you get on the radio on company time, or even off company time, and say how badly your job sucks and how you hate the people you work for, they are probably going to solve your problem pretty quickly.

She NEVER once mentioned hating her boss or her job.

You sir FAIL

Whatever crony capitalist friend that had the call center
who fired the poor black woman.

good place to start

Or better yet, you have no idea what you're talking about but just want to blame someone for something.

Wouldn't surprise me, considering the state of politics today.

...Wha- are you... are you seriously trying to make an issue of that? You're utterly failing, or being willfully Obtuse- the point is if you go on a Radio show and bad mouth your product, company, coworkers or anything -like- that you're going to get your ass fired.

Obamacare or freaking Chinese Carry Out from around the corner- you don't just let that stuff go.

This thread is dumb, and anyone who makes anything out of this is being dumb too.

No, she just said that everyone she talks to hates ObamaCare.

Seriously, guy, no one would still have a job after doing that.

You've probably heard that several days ago, with the Obamacare website having tons of trouble and all the officials trying to get people to call an 800 number instead, talk show host Sean Hannity called that number, and wound up talking to an operator who was helpful and frank. She answered all his question, was polite, and when he asked he if she had heard from anyone who actually liked Obamacare, she said, "No, not really."
Hannity Dials Obamacare Call Center, Operator Says No One Likes It | RealClearPolitics

Well, that operator was brought up to the third floor a day or two later, locked in a room with high-level executives, and told she was fired. You're not supposed to talk to the media, she is now being told... though she was never told that during her hiring or training.

Looks like the Obamanites have no tolerance for anyone who says anything bad about the Obama administration, no matter how well they do their jobs.

Even if it's the truth.

Or maybe, especially if it's the truth.

Obamacare Operator Fired After Taking Call From Hannity; Hannity To Give Her A Year's Salary

On the top of Thursday's broadcast of his radio show, Sean Hannity revealed Erling Davis, the Obamacare operator he called early in his Monday show, got fired. Hannity quizzed her on how well the law is being received by applicants and she revealed no one liked it. Hannity had Davis on his show today and revealed he will give her a year's salary of $26,000 and help her find a new job.

SEAN HANNITY: Something happened between the time we made that call to you, and now, what happened?

ERLING DAVIS: They fired me from my job.

HANNITY: Because of the phone call, the information that you gave us?

DAVIS: Yes sir.

HANNITY: Tell us what happened.

DAVIS: Okay, the day I received the call from the radio station, I had to go pick up my best friend that night, and then someone was like, ”someone was looking for you.” But, I don’t know who that person is. So I was like, well I’m going to come back in the morning, because I had to go back to work. So the next day I came back and they had, like, two people escort me upstairs to H.R. And then it was three head people and me, we sat down, and I’m like, “why am I up here?” I figured, okay, they wanna talk about the phone call – the incident.

Then the lady sitting behind the desk; I don’t know what their name is, but the lady that was sitting behind the desk, I guess called up another head lady on her cell phone, so the lady was talking, and I couldn’t really understand what she was saying because she had me on speakerphone. I remember her saying, “We can’t have this type of stuff going on here, so we have to release you.” But they had locked the doors and everything; I guess they didn’t want anybody to come in there.

So when she told me they had to release me, that’s when I put my name tag – my badge – on the desk, and something was going wrong with my cell phone, so that’s when I tried to call my ride to come pick me up, but the lady next to me was just, like, being rude. She had, like, an attitude.

HANNITY: Now, did they give you… You were hired… How long had you been working with this company?

DAVIS: I started September 23.

HANNITY: Okay, so it’s a fairly new job for you. Did they—I assume they put you through some training, right?

DAVIS: Yes sir, they did.

HANNITY: And did they ever tell you that you’re not allowed to take a call from a radio show? Your job was to answer phones.

DAVIS: I did not hear anything about that. There were so many of us in a big group, you can only talk so loud.

HANNITY: And what was the specific reason? When they sat you down, did they give you a specific reason?

DAVIS: They said that no contact with the media. No type of media whatsoever. We’re not allowed to do that at that company.

HANNITY: Meaning, in other words, they didn’t tell you before you were hired, they didn’t tell you during your training, but then they told you after the fact that you aren’t allowed to be on the media if somebody called in. It’s not your fault I called.

I saw that one coming during the call. Hannity should have considered the line of questioning he was on at the time. Pretty self absorbed there. At least he is coming through on damage control.

Big swing and a miss....of the point.
