Obama's last two years his best?

U.S. National Debt up 70% since Obama took office
Great accomplshments

obama's best might be the democrats worst. The country will suffer from his destruction for years. To the democrats it might be generations.

History will look at what Obama accomplished and his lasting legacy

In spite of non-stop whining from Republicans, Obama did the right thing and will be looked at favorably by history

Obamacare, gay rights, immigration reform, economic initiatives, environmental protections, normalizing relations with Cuba, sanctions against Russia

All showed strong leadership and will be looked at favorably

Yeah, by the colossally stupid and partisan. His legacy will be abysmal.. trust me. There's a reason his approvals are in the 30's.

But hey, have your delusions.
As far as FoxNation is concerned, Obama will always be a failure. They declared it from day one

History will look at subjective evidence and hard accomplishments
Obamacare, preventing a depression, killing bin Laden, gay rights, immigration reform, sanctions on Iraq and Russia, normalization of relations with Cuba........will all be looked at favorably

The actions and positions of Republicans during these years will not
Yep and soon Israel, who used to be our closest alli.

No, antisemites like you are Israel's worst enemy.

I can't help but notice that large drop was begun at the end of Bush's watch.

Why don't you scroll that graph back to 1998?

The employment rate always goes down when a recession begins, but it has always recovered in the past. This is the first recession since the Great Depression where it hasn't recovered.

Yes, history will. And it won't be favorable. Obama is going to rank in the bottom two of all presidents that this country has elected.

I fear you will be sadly disappointed

Obama started with a historic presidency. Add in stopping a depression, passing Obamacare, saving the auto and financial sector, killing bin Laden, gay rights, immigration reform, financial reform, thawed relations with Cuba......easy top ten president

This is the part where you scream...fail, Fail, FAIL

Yeah, so why does he currently rank around 15th out of 44?

NaziCons are slow learners. They'll start realizing Obama is correct on Cuba in about 50 years or so.

I give them ten years and they will start taking credit for Cuba

This thread reminds me of a Snickers commercial from the 1960's when Johnny Unitas was selling Snickers as health food...
"Milk chocolate made from real milk; creamy nougat made from whole eggs; and peanuts packed with protein!"
"Snickers. The good food candy bar!"
"Obama; two more years of successful leadership." Ha!

Sneaker as a health food!!!!! that is precious!!! :D

You made my day with the comparison:thup:
Snickers aren't health food?

I could live on them.

And coffee.
My mom didn't buy that one, either. Like Bill Cosby feeding the kids cake for breakfast using the same rationale.

Another front that President Obama has won on. Renewable energy. Latest wind farm being put in will deliver electricity at a unsubsidized cost of 3.7 cents a kilowatt. That compares to dirty coal at 6.6 cents a kilowatt. And unsubsidized solar is down to 7.1 cents a kilowatt, and still dropping. Now we see several companies starting to build manufacturing facilities for grid scale batteries, and Oncor, the largest utility in Texas stating that starting 2018, it will be installing 5000 mw of grid scale batteries, making solar and wind 24/7.

Did you miss Russia invading Georgia when Bush was president? Bush did nothing in response.

Obama got the Europeans to agree to sanctions and now the Russian economy is cratering.
No, that's not true. Bush did a lot in response.
Regardless, Bush is no excuse for obama. You need to stay on topic.
As I remember...Bush and Obama did about the same things over Crimea and Georgia...which was condemn it, and not a lot else.

What exactly did Bush do, that Obama didn't?
U.S. reacted strongly to Russia incursion into Georgia in 2008 - The Washington Post

Again, Bush is no excuse for the unimposing, paper tiger, non-deterrent known as obama.
Did you read that extremely short article you posted?

It didn't come close to specifying anything about what Bush did in Georgia, that Obama didn't do in Crimea.
Ask a non-democrat to explain to you how to operate web links within a story.
Okay, I see what you're saying, Bush did steam a Navy into the Black Sea, and airlift Georgian troops around, that's something.

As for the differences between Georgia and Crimea...

The Georgian conflict was to bring back 2 break away regions in Gerogia. There are no break away regions in Crimea. They're pretty much Russians. I'm not defending Putin...but in any event, what Bush did, and what Obama did, had zero net effect on the outcomes.

At this point I'd like to ask you another question.

Is there anything either Bush or Obama could have done to affect the outcomes of Georgia and Crimea?...if not...who care what either did. It seems to me a waste of assets

Obama is hitting his stride....finally learning to work with Congress

He wasted six years waiting for Congress to function as a legislative body. Now, with no more elections to win and not having to worry about the prospects of individual Congressmen, he can finally do what needs to be done

He has been hesitant to use his executive powers up until now...Now he has nothing to lose

Republican crowing about having a "lame duck" Obama are not coming to fruition. President Obama is racking up accomplishment to rival his first two years

The liberation of Barack Obama - The Week

First came a landmark climate change deal with China, which boosted hopes that the global community could reach agreement on a successor to the Kyoto Protocol in 2015. The deal was the direct result of new EPA emissions regulations announced earlier in the summer, which amount to "the strongest action ever taken by the U.S. government to fight climate change," according to New York's Jonathan Chait.
Then came Obama's executive order to allow about five million undocumented immigrants to legally remain in the United States. It was a move that not only fulfilled an important liberal goal and shored up a crucial constituency for the Democratic Party, but also may have boxed in Republican presidential hopefuls on the issue.
Then there was the news that 2014 has been the best year for job creation since 1999, which may lift Obama's approval ratings and create space for the president to actually make some deals with the GOP.
This weekend, the Senate began ramming through Obama's judicial and executive appointments, thanks to an unintended assist from Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Mike Lee (R-Utah).
And now Russian President Vladimir Putin, previously seen as wreaking havoc in Ukraine because of Obama's supposed inability to lead, is reeling from a currency crisis that can be partly attributed to sanctions that Obama championed.
More could be on the way. According to Steve Coll at The New Yorker, Obama is also considering closing the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba — for real this time.

Just in today...Obama normalizing relations with Cuba

This country is crumbling before our very eyes as a direct result of Obozo's policies and leadship. You are one of the incredibly stupid people left that celebrates this piece of shit. I wish we could divide the country up between your side and capitalist, freedom lovers.

We could always create another BUBBLE and get people back to work...that is...until it bursts again....
You cannot get people back to work and pay them to lay around and fuck too.

People are at work, "illegals" that is.

Too many Americans have learned you do not have to work to get by.
Ahhhhh, yes, of course...

you believe

the rich are too poor, and the poor are too RICH....
I don't concern myself with how much the stupid poor hand the rich.

Poverty is a choice, subsidized by government in return for votes.

Economy is booming, unemployment is down. deficit has been cut, US has one of the strongest economies in the world, gas prices way down. GDP grew 4.3% last quarter

If you wish to attribute it to Obamas policies and leadeership...you are welcome

Entitlements are bleeding this country dry, poverty rate is up, median income is down, less people working now than before Obozo took office. Obamacare is one big cluster fuck. Puttin has been emboldened by Obozo's weakness. Mid East is more combustible than ever. Race relations in this country have taken a turn for the worse........
