I hate to say it...but you might be right.

I admire her.

But I do NOT agree with her (and other progressives) about several issues. Specifically guaranteed jobs and free college for all. Both are nothing but a huge sink hole for taxpayers money.
And if she is for guaranteed income...I am DEAD set against that as well (I do not know if she is for that or not).

I do agree with her that the government owes every American a place to live. NOT an apartment/house, but basic, clean shelter. And food and basic healthcare (full for children). No American should ever have to worry about starving, having no shelter or do without basic medical care.

I guess when I see people attack her on here - I assume they are just attacking her and not her issues. And people around here DO that. And that is pathetic.

But, you did not appear to do that (that I have seen).

Please point out the part of the Constitution that mentions housing, food or healthcare.

No where that I am aware of. And I don't even begin to care if it is in the Constitution or not. The Constitution is a document written by people...it is not a tablet from God. It is flawed and is often adjusted and is in need of further adjustment.

Common human decency is what modern civilization is all about.

New deal plan is that the one with a lot of free shit that other people have to pay for ?

A fifteen dollar an hour minimum wage and fourteen dollars an hour for being naturally unemployed, especially in Right to Work States!

There are now more job openings than workers to fill them

And no increase in wages that indicate that to be the case. Just because a lot of people want to hire really cheap labor doesn't mean people can afford to take the jobs in the first place. Who is going to take a low wage part time job 50 miles away, or relocate for one?

Lots of jobs in my area, lots of unemployed 200 miles away, most without the skill sets allegedly in demand for the skilled jobs lots of 'demand' for fast food and construction, nobody is going to move here to take at the pay rates employers want to pay, which is illegal alien wages.

There is no labor shortage, never has been in our history. Some businessman's wanting to make more money faster but can't hire as many more workers as he wants to isn't a 'labor shortage', it's just some people who are sniveling because they aren't making money as fast as he wants to, is all. If he's got enough workers to get it done in a week instead of two days, then he has enough; in fact we have an massive over-supply of labor, especially in construction, given how every boom cycle results in massive over-building problems.

So basically, because /you/ don't want to go where the jobs are, /you/ would prefer to steal /my/ money so you can stay there...

And I'm the "greedy" "selfish" one? LOL

Unemployment compensation pays for itself with a positive multiplier of two. For every one dollar spent, it generates two dollars of economic activity.

Higher paid labor pays more in taxes and creates more in demand.
