Erie County (western NY including Buffalo) Sherriff Tim Howard has made it very clear that he thinks the Governor of New York State Andrew Cuomo's SAFE Act ,the recently crafted anti gun legislation (entered into vote on a sneaky and sleazy weekend session -with little public knowledge) which went into effect recently violates people's Constitutional Rights. Thank you Sheriff Howard for forgoing emotions ( unlike NY Governor Andrew Cuomo) and demonstrating rationality where there clearly isn't any. which clearly outlines his position on the matter. What makes this interesting is that Governor Andrew Cuomo who pushed this reactionary anti gun legislation seems to think that the second amendment is about hunting deer... He's Governor of New York State and clearly doesn't understand the basis for the 2A. video:

Governor Cuomo sounds like a grandstanding ass when he points out that "nobody needs more than ten rounds to kill a deer"... If only he had a basic understanding what the second, and fourth amendments stood for... I assure you Mr. Cuomo, the 2A, and 4A were never written about defending your home and children from deer.
