Sorry, Europe. I just saw the speech for the first time this morning. It sounded reasonable to me. It was a little distracting to see the Speaker of the House holding up a notepad and running through it everytime the President began a new paragraph. What she did looked like someone who didn't know how to act at a SOTU address. I guess when you're planning a "gotcha" conspiracy, you have to check your notes frequently.

Not defending her but....she was actually looking at the copy of the speech Trump gave both her and VP Pence.

She could have just listened. Instead, she used a notepad to show the world how unimportant what was being said was to her. Body language doesn't lie.
