A Massachusetts resident has tested positive for monkeypox, health officials confirmed Wednesday, making it the first case of the rare virus detected in the United States this year.

According to a release from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the patient is an adult male who recently traveled to Canada. The department completed initial testing Tuesday and was confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

"The case poses no risk to the public, and the individual is hospitalized and in good condition," MDPH stated in a press release. "DPH is working closely with the CDC, relevant local boards of health, and the patient’s health care providers to identify individuals who may have been in contact with the patient while he was infectious."

Who named this disease? Was it racist joe biden?

Great, so now another disease unleashed on us. Food shortages brought about by burning down food warehouses, diseases being unleashed, wars being brought about by nato after they kept pushing the boundaries and threatening putin, yes the devils trident.

War, pestilence and worldwide famines all brought about by the world leaders to create world resets and culling the herds.

Don't everyone. The government and world leaders don't view you as mere ant hills in way of their mass global reconstruction.

They really really care.
That's not the first case of monkey pox in the U.S.

news reported only three in the US, no timeline on when they were reported. Post a link and show us your skillset. You know it isn't contagious, right?

It’s not easy to contract this virus

It’s not a pandemic in the making

Try and keep up with the science

What's the symptoms of monkey pox? Craving bananas? Does it spread by throwing feces at each other?

Is Fauci recommending the wearing of vizers to deflect the poo?

PYEONGTAEK, South Korea (AP) — President Joe Biden said Sunday that recent cases of monkeypox that have been identified in Europe and the United States were something “to be concerned about.”

In his first public comments on the disease, Biden added: “It is a concern in that if it were to spread it would be consequential."

The president was asked about the disease as he spoke to reporters at Osan Air Base in South Korea, where he visited troops before taking off for Japan to continue his first trip to Asia as president.

Don't worry folks. I am really really suuuure this is all a giant coincidence with this NEW PANDEMIC spreading as today begins the discussion and debate and eventual vote of weather or not to give over our sovereignty to the WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION.

Yeah, just a coincidence along with the 20 something fires in this country alone of food warehouses and processing plants and many more around the world.

Now that their covid turned out to be one giant steaming pile of utter bullshit for over 2 years.

Yeah, all just a coincidence.
They wouldn't have Biden so thoroughly briefed and prepared on MonkeyPOX if they didn't already have BIG plans that involve the VIRUS.

Big ugly dark ulcers on the hands and everywhere else for starters.....You are going to know who has it.

Secondly, look for the vaccinated for Covid to have it......conspiracy or fact I don't know at this point, but they are reporting that Canada is having cases of monkeypox despite vaccinations and likely because of vaccinations with people who were never exposed to the Monkey pox virus just the covid vaccines.
