Trump will never hold national office in this country. Ever. I voted for him twice and, I assure you, I would not vote for him a third time, and I know a lot of former Trump supporters who feel the same.

Unfortunately, there are more Trump supporters who are not as reasonable as you. According to several polls taken since the Capitol Riot, about a third of folks in this country still approve of the Pres. (see 538). Rasmussen says half.

oh c'mon! a censure? what exactly will that do? that is not much more than a strong talking to & finger wagging. the house flipped in 2018 because of the possibility of impeachment. if the (D)s had the senate - donny would have been gone long b4 this coup could have gained ground.

impeachment & removal is the only way to go. pence won't invoke the 25th, & a senate trial after jan 20, which i believe the vast majority of americans would stand behind, not only ensures trump can't run for office again ( not that i think he would even try) but he can't be pardoned AND can face some real jail time.

Oh he would run again if he can and he will run one of his kids if he can not!
