Oktoberfest to be Banned?

There are similar festivals all over the USA where German immigrants settle. He have a Haufbrauhaus here in Vegas and their Oktoberfest goes over great.

Personally, I'd like to see both go completely away. They aren't our holidays, they were merely instituted here to be politically correct. Octoberfest isn't just a big beer drinking bash, and Easter is a pagan fertility rite. Do either lend themselves to society in a positive? We could focus our efforts in much more productive ways, like getting gun control banished.

Do you have the faintest idea why Oktoberfest is held? Or similar festivals throughout Europe.

You should check it out before you shoot off your big mouth.

I took pics inside a "bier tent" in Munich. And the pic looks like it was taken outside, because there's a mural painted on the wall, of an outdoor cafe'.
But it was taken inside.
And that's just one of dozens of buildings.

And the bier mugs, I think they're a liter or more.

I love easter------giant chocolate bunnies all over--------(always ask for the legs----NOT THE EARS------the legs---the back legs upon which bunny stands------are SOLID

Lots and lots of great food that is a product of and cooked from scratch right there. Each of these is a family vineyard that also raises their own animals. I cannot tell you how awesome it is with great home-brewed wines. And lots of music.
