Omicron a good thing? Many doctors think so

Yet little of what has been offered is has helped much at all...

Show us that it's worked, instead of claiming it does

The rates of hospitalizations, intensive care, and deaths of the unvaccinated are significantly higher than those of the vaccinated. Multiple reports from diverse locales across America concur.

Even ideologues who are contemptuous of medical science are conceding the obvious:

“Look, the results of the vaccine are very good,
and if you do get (Covid), it’s a very minor form.
People aren’t dying when they take the vaccine...

the vaccine works!”

I never heard of any mutations before Delta.

after the original covid 19 - variants started emerging from south africa, brazil, the UK & i think even california.

they are being named using the greek alphabet.

alpha, beta, gamma, delta, & now omicron. hopefully, we'll never see an 'omega'.

The next one could only give people a bad cough

or worse ... or nothing at all. but you miss the point that the virus & all its variants are looking for hosts.

and they'd be out closing schools and forcing people to wear masks in restaurants to maintain control over us.

when i read ^^^ that ^^^ all i see is

'blahblahblah ... i don't want to do what it takes to finally get rid of this fucking virus... i wanna be a spoiled baby & not be 'told' how to behave to do that.'

now it's at the point where it's become endemic.

Once our immune systems have become familiar with it then covid will continue on and it will be no more problematic than the common flu.

'cept we don't know about covid specifically - because it's brand new.

i bet they thought that about chicken pox. shingles is a direct result of having chicken pox.

& they are all a herpes virus. seems the nastiest of 'em all is a lifelong STD.

Please validate your premise by citing the "many doctors" you allege deem omicron "a good thing."

The article only quotes a Jeffery Singer who specializes in gastroenterology and internal medicine and has no credentials in public health, epidemiology or virology.

Re:

"Many" was, apparently, an inaccurate description of Jeff Singer, but please scramble to find another doctor who shares Singer's opinion concerning the pandemic - maybe a proctologist rather than a gastroenterologist.

The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)

The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) database contains information on unverified reports of adverse events (illnesses, health problems and/or symptoms) following immunization with US-licensed vaccines. Reports are accepted from anyone and can be submitted electronically at www.vaers.hhs.gov

VAERS accepts reports of adverse events and reactions that occur following vaccination. Healthcare providers, vaccine manufacturers, and the public can submit reports to VAERS. While very important in monitoring vaccine safety, VAERS reports alone cannot be used to determine if a vaccine caused or contributed to an adverse event or illness. The reports may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable. Most reports to VAERS are voluntary, which means they are subject to biases. This creates specific limitations on how the data can be used scientifically. Data from VAERS reports should always be interpreted with these limitations in mind.
The strengths of VAERS are that it is national in scope and can quickly provide an early warning of a safety problem with a vaccine. As part of CDC and FDA's multi-system approach to post-licensure vaccine safety monitoring, VAERS is designed to rapidly detect unusual or unexpected patterns of adverse events, also known as "safety signals." If a safety signal is found in VAERS, further studies can be done in safety systems such as the CDC's Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD) or the Clinical Immunization Safety Assessment (CISA) project. These systems do not have the same limitations as VAERS, and can better assess health risks and possible connections between adverse events and a vaccine.

Key considerations and limitations of VAERS data:

  • Vaccine providers are encouraged to report any clinically significant health problem following vaccination to VAERS, whether or not they believe the vaccine was the cause.
  • Reports may include incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental and unverified information.
  • The number of reports alone cannot be interpreted or used to reach conclusions about the existence, severity, frequency, or rates of problems associated with vaccines.
  • VAERS data are limited to vaccine adverse event reports received between 1990 and the most recent date for which data are available.
  • VAERS data do not represent all known safety information for a vaccine and should be interpreted in the context of other scientific information.
VAERS data available to the public include only the initial report data to VAERS. Updated data which contains data from medical records and corrections reported during follow up are used by the government for analysis. However, for numerous reasons including data consistency, these amended data are not available to the public.

What virus? No one has yet proven to me that it exists and losers just get pissed and flounce off in a huff when they can't explain why they can't prove their words.

It will go away it's just going to take a few years. With Democrats in charge they will make those few years a living hell, especially in commie cities. As their motto goes, never let a good crisis go to waste, and they follow that plan play by play.

it COULD have gone away, had donny not ignored it & lied to the american public - down playing it to us but admitting how deadly it was to bob woodward ... that is after he endlessly praised china for all their due diligence in them trying to eradicate it.

lol ... make no mistake - nobody really cares about *you*.

it's what yer behavior ... or lack of it can do to the rest of us.

I had a pretty bad cold all last week. Stayed home, slept a lot, guzzled Nyquil. My sister, when she heard, wanted to know why I didn't go get tested to see if it was Covid. She was shocked when I said, "Because I really didn't care."

hopefully it wasn't covid - & i see how much you care, being a 'pro lifer ' when it comes to possibly infect a pregger & her unborn baby that you so desperately want forced to be born.

No, that's just what viruses do. The Spanish flu mutated itself out of existence and there were no vaccines then.

but people did what they needed to - to mitigate it.

starting with masking up.

donny coulda helped out bigley with that.

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Dr. Joseph Mercola’s website has a host of blogs about health tips, COVID-19 and vaccines. One post claims to treat COVID-19 for less than $1 a day. Wednesday morning he posted he'll remove all of his content in 48 hours.

Yes they are.

And when we resist the fear porn, they call us evil.

Did you know you can make HCQ at home? Search it online, probably on something other than Google.

how about BOO dirt? go to yer local garbage dump & you can find just the right ingrediants to make that too.
