One God.

I don't think that I could have gotten away with telling my 1st grade teacher that 3=1, but Christians buy it every day. I find that somewhat ironic....
I have no problem with it. The God that created the universe would have no problem revealing Himself in three persons. He could even impregnate a woman and be born as a human if he wanted to.

Excellent attitude! Such an attitude should allow you to accept any and all scientific knowledge.
I agree. Science is one of my interests. Are you familiar with Albert Einstein?
Spare me the bait and switch.
Whatever.

There seems to be a lot of confusion, not to mention some wilful ignorance about the nature of God.

Many Christians believe in the Trinity and that Jesus was God incarnate.

Some even point to the Trinity and state that Christians worship three Gods.

Nothing could be further from the truth. For example, look at a chicken egg. It has three separate parts. The yolk, the egg white, and the shell. So, which one of those parts is NOT the egg. They all are.

It's the same with God. One God, three persons, all sharing the essence of God. All equal. One God. But three in nature.

Get it now?
horse hooey.

A yolk is not an egg, the white is not an egg, a shell is not an egg. Only an egg is an egg.

God is not divisible and cannot be defined or limited by any number of given attributes.

If there is only one God then there is no other god in existence either equal to, above or below him.

Aside from that irrefutable fact, there never was a human being that was God or became God either before, during or after their human existence.
What evidence do you have to support your assertion there never was a human being that was God, or became God, either before, during or after their human existance?
No human can BECOME God because God is eternal. Jesus was God before He came to earth in human form.

Nothing like a good old Sunday morning “My cults’ better than your cult” debate.

Been through if a couple of times. Learned not to assume that I know what God is, what he thinks, or what his motives are. Jesus was born of woman, and that made him human until God decided that he not be Human anymore. Only God knows why he did it that way.

Read the first chapter of the Gospel of John. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and was God.

That's referring to Jesus. Jesus was God before He was a human. There are other Scriptures in the epistles of Paul where it states Jesus was God before He came to earth as a man.

Einstein said by studying the universe he was convinced there is a Spirit and intelligence that dwarfs anything of man's. You can find that quote easily by googling it.

Not particularly socialist but could be called agnostic-----he was a staunch Zionist and credited his
study of the Talmud for his analytical mind

It would really help if you just simply listened to what we say. Jesus did not BECOME God. He WAS God. He existed before all things. He is the first and the last. The beginning and the end.

The nonbelievers just get yolk on their faces....
3 persons? god? yolk?
humans come up with the most unbelievable stuff
How about a tree? Wood, bark, leaves. The English word "God" is interpreted by many as meaning singular. However, Jesus said "I and my father are one". Jesus also referred to the Holy Spirit as "He". If people would study the Scriptures they would see that God is three persons. Scripture is the authority, not our own reasoning.

I and the Father are one, well Emperor Vespasian and Emperor Titus had the same mindset. The HS was Domitian. Trinity.
