Don't start fights with people...

Pretty simple concept.

It gets worse for you when they have a gun.

There are other concepts out there, my friend Pete. And my grandma said "It takes TWO to tango!" :abgg2q.jpg:
So pick your "dance partner" carefully...
I picked nothing, Vastator. Of the two combatant women, the authorities believed the one with the biggest bluff, and it happened to be the shooter. The person who was 5 months pregnant whose baby was destroyed with the several shots pumped into her belly is the "parner" who was ultimately blamed. People who tape misfortunes usually have failed to show the first utterance between the combatants, and "eyewitnesses" tend to favor the person who seems to be most in charge of the situation. And the victim was angry in the behalf of her 5 months of throwing up, giving up sleepless nights, a broken heart when he told her "so what, get the 'problem' fixed," and all else single pregnant women have to deal with, including a rival. Some things ain't piss, but if they haven't had any for 5 months, it may have accumulated to an explosion point. The victim, aside from having a baby in her tummy which her rival did away with, should likely be given the best treatment possible, considering all her losses and future disability thanks to her gun-toting, vengeful assailant, regardless of her stinging words. The woman with the gun should have been taught better the old adage, "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me." Unless the victim was armed with a machete or something.
Lots wrong there with your nearly incoherent emotional out burst. Not the least of which being your conflation of an all out assault on the victim with mere words. The pregnant bitch violently attacked the victim, and put her child in the crossfire. In Alabama you don't get a free pass to commit violent felonies because you're having a sad, not feeling well, or suffered a disappointment.
What made it a violent felony? Up here, to be a felony, an assault needs to be either domestic violence or involving a deadly weapon. I did not hear of a deadly weapon. Where was it?
We don't care how you do things up there. This is Alabama.

Really!!? So folks can just go around kicking the shit out of people without using a weapon; and won't be charged with a felony, so long as they don't live together..? Call me a skeptic. But I call bullshit.

iIt marks a continued assault against a woman's rights to her own body. These loons feel fetal rights are greater than a woman's. Eventualy we will have tbe fetal police squad examing every miscarriage for suspected foul play and zygot abuse. Rape victims will be forced to house unwanted organisms inside their bodies and incur the pain, expense and heartbreak.
At what point does not allowing a woman to kill someone else, constitute an assault on that woman? Do explain that one. Don't worry. We'll wait...
The only who killed anyone was the one with the woman gun.
Oh... Now you want to deflect from your original point? Good choice. I'd have abandoned that one too, if I'd been foolish enough to take it to begin with... Not likely though.
As for the shooter. We in Alabama have a right to defend ourselves against all assailants. Pregnant or not. Morally righteous, and perfectly legal. Now the would be mother, and assailant is going to face justice for the consequence of her actions.
No mention of a proportionate response, eh?

I'd bet you anything that Reid either has some kind of personal ties with the shooter or her family or he's got some real bad history with the woman who got shot. Unless these are the only two dumb bitches in his district who get into fights or unless there is only one drug addict in his district to deal with, I have a feeling there is some personal vendetta going on here. I hope. Because if this a legit "policy," this part of Alabama needs to be flash bombed.
I can assure you like most alabamians, should you assault me; be prepared for the most disproportionate response I'm capable of mustering at that moment...
LOL I like that turn of phrase.

I don't assault people, hayseed.

again, searched to see if anyone else was commenting on this subject, and no one else was.

So she couldn't outrun a pregnant woman? Shooting her was the only recourse she had?

Fetuses aren't viable, so they aren't babies.

------------------------------------ PROPORTINATE Response is BS in a situation like this and in War Fighting and in all self defense scenarios . I was unhappy to see it mentioned by the TRUMP a week or so in the past when TRUMP didn't just destroy 'iran' but mentioned the silly PROPORTINATE response and then some tears for 150 dead and sent to heaven 'iranians' . Anyway , see 'euro land' where those weakling do PROPORTINATE Response in all things OldLdy .

That's right. As far as I know, anyway. Otherwise it is assault. Unless you throw them off a bridge and drown them or something.

She started the fight, she put her baby in danger. And yes, it was a baby.

Um, no, it was a fetus.

She's not the one who pulled the trigger.

So let me get this straight. A woman gets into an argument with another woman over a man they were both sleeping with. One of them pulls out a gun, shoots the other and the woman who got shot is treated like the perp?

This is all kinds of messed up.
The real facts are out there and actually on this board. She attacked the other woman, they were in a car, she was beating the crap out of the other woman and she pulled her gun in self defense. If the pregnant woman had not been the aggressor, that child would probably be alive today.

And fetus does not make it less a baby. It is a term used to distinguish pre birth vs after birth. And used by those pro choice to make it seem unlike a baby, but it is.

If this is true then manslaughter would apply.

Is it near Ecuadoria?

I live in the U.S. I was born a U.S. citizen. I've been to Alabama. Tommy is right. Alabama sucks big time. I remember when Birmingham was known as "Bombingham." Those dead little girls in the church choir. Remember?

Well, I've been to the East Coast and never met a bunch of colder, meaner people Hysteria, and that's the truth. Philly is pretty bad, DC is terrible but NYC is really the worst. I feel awful for foreigners who come to see what America is like and stop at the East Coast--the rudest, coldest people I've ever seen.

Except maybe Parisians, but that's another story

Where are you from? Where do you live? Who treated you badly? In NYC, in DC? I've lived all of my life in in NYC and DC. What happened to you when you were here in these places? Who treated you wrongly? If you had an incident on the street, did people not rush to your aid?

People from all over the U.S. rush to the aid of others all the time. This is our duty as human beings.

Sweet Sue, Who treated you "cold" and "mean" in DC, NYC, London?

I live in the Midwest, and it was more rare to see a polite and friendly person than it was a cold and rude one. Especially in NYC. The rudest people I have encountered anywhere I have traveled. Philly and DC were a close second.

This is not a secret, Hysteria. This is quite well known, how rude East Coasters are.

How so? I've experienced nothing but graciousness. An African-American man whom I remember shoveling behind my vehicle after a snow storm. Two African-American men who rushed to pick me up when I fell outside of a store on the ice. We have a downstairs neighbor who is African-American and always has plants outside. We had a conversation a few days ago about herbs, and he showed me where I could get mint and basil without going to the store. Just stop in front of the condo and pick them.

Just this past week, an African-American bus driver stopped to wait for me and my groceries (I am currently car-less), an Hispanic woman helped me on board with my heavy packages, and while I was hoping to be home before the rain started, I was unlucky, when I got off the bus, the deluge had already started, so a woman in a hijab took out her umbrella and held it over MY head.

I do not understand this tale that people on the east coast of the United States are rude. Even on our darkest day, September 11, we all did what we could. I went to the local hospital and was one of the first to give a pint of A-positive, after the explosion at the Pentagon rocked the bathroom in which I was brushing my teeth. Yes, it was loud and it shook the floor beneath my feet.

...

So who mistreated you? Who was rude to you? When I was growing up and going into town (NYC) by bus, no one ever mistreated me. No one ever mistreated me when I went to university and stayed a few years in DC. I have never spent any time in Philly. No one ever mistreated me when I have been in London.

What is this BS about? September 11th was our special day of horror. On a normal working day, I would have been on that road by the Pentagon to go to work in DC where the plane came in to crash into the Pentagon. But I held back. I was talking on the phone to my brother, who was on the eighth floor of a hospital in northern Jersey recovering from a hip fracture and asking him what he could see. By then, I knew that there was a plane out there which was not accounted for.

I could go on. But where does this idea come from that people on the east coast are cold and mean? I have received nothing but kindness from those in NYC, DC, and London, UK.

Shot mum who miscarried is charged with manslaughter but shooter goes free

A MUM who miscarried her baby after she was shot five times in the abdomen has been charged with manslaughter - while the love rival who riddled her with bullets faces no action.

Cops in US state Alabama claim Marshae Jones, 27, endangered her unborn child by starting the fight that landed her in hospital.

If she had been armed she wouldnt have been going to jail. What a story. Encapsulating everything shit about the State.
It was the jury who decided this.

Probably to kill two birds with one stone, put in jail a black woman who is also not a gun owner. Or maybe three, black and woman is two, and the other woman was also black.

Seriously though, this is not justice and should be appealed. And the police is to blame, they brought the charges.

She climbed on top of her in the car. Never seen two women fight?
Depotoo, I am NOT anti-abortion, but we really need a 'rest of the story' illumination on this. Working on an ambulance, I've seen a few of these cat-fights, and they are vicious. The headline makes the incident seem ridiculous, but I suspect the 'victim' is not as innocent as seems. And the thing that makes me scratch my head about incidents like this is how the ladies go after the 'other woman' while the philandering guy is blameless in both ladies eyes.
Bullshit! The victim is totally blameless. How you could place even the possibility of blame on the child is fucking insane.

vastator, what are you talking about in this post? I never mentioned the child. I actually blame the two idiots who are screwing the same guy.

"Bullshit! The victim is totally blameless. How you could place even the possibility of blame on the child is fucking insane.
"
I’m talking about you trying to paint the perpetrator as the victim; instead of being honest. Because the “victims” are the deceased, and the woman who had to fight off the attacker. You said “I suspect the ‘victim’ is not as innocent as seems.”[/QUOTE]
OK thanks. I asked, you answered, and I appreciate that. However, I never meant to paint the perpetrator as the victim, but if you believe I did, I understand better.

Seriously? Are you out of your mind? My aunt's friend, a journalist in Turkey, when I was 16, who followed us from Istanbul to Izmir to Athens and then Rome? Who pinned me against a wall in a Rome hotel. Students at a DC university, one of whom bit me on the ass when I went to go into our student house from the front porch, leaving marks through my jeans and underwear? It hurt. A guy who assaulted me at a ski resort in Maine in the hall to the bathroom in my jammies (with the feet) so that I had to have a male member of our company escort me when I had to visit the bathroom down the hall?

Why in the fuck would I make this up? I just tell my personal story.

Lots wrong there with your nearly incoherent emotional out burst. Not the least of which being your conflation of an all out assault on the victim with mere words. Few women in Alabama carry guns. This one was waiting for a confrontation, imho. All this fighting over a gigolo of an idiot, and one of them tries to get rid of the rival and her offspring with 5 bullets into the gut area where the baby--her real rival--was making growth progress. She knew the woman was pregnant, that's why she went for the gut--to inflict double punitive measure against her "rival." Where's the soup-for-brains father taking up for his kid? :cranky:

That's a pretty elaborate fantasy. Including your assumptions about who carries. But it sounds like you've got some details the police don't. Maybe you should call them, and fill them in on what you know.
