It was a civil offense until Trump criminalized it so he could separate families. In any case, it does not equate to any interpretation of "open borders". In addition, you are agreeing there are not open borders and speculating that open borders is rather a goal of Democrats, not something that actually exists in the present.

Again, a misleading post claiming O'Rourke called for "tearing down the wall" when he was talking about only the walls in his city of El Paso. Nowhere in the video does he speak of wanting "open borders".
