I'm all for open carry, but, what happens when open carry gun dude encounters open carry machete dude on a busy shopping day?

FTR, I agree with 2Aguy...leave the ARs and Saigas at home...if you want to make a political statement, an H&R Pardner single shot or Kentucky Long Rifle is the way to go.

When I open carry, it's a Bond Arms Snake Slayer. Enough to make a statement, but small enough to say "defensive only".

That is a cc state, they weren't breaking any laws, and they didn't have shotguns. Not that it makes any difference what they had.

Yes....but if they have clean records.....what can you do? All of the mass shooters either had clean records before the shooting or got around the background checks...or followed all of the gun control laws......

If they are on the watch list or under FBI surveillance.....but if they are just guys with clean records...what would you suggest we do? Even France can't stop their terrorists...remember, the Charlie hebdo terrorists....2 of them were on government terrorist watch lists and one was a convicted felon....and in France, with their extreme gun control laws, they still bought fully automatic rifles, 30 round magazines, pistols, hand grenades and a rocket propelled grenade........in France. And those guys were under suspicion.......
