If there isn't enough petroleum to refine into diesel, why not go for synthetic diesel made from coal?

I think the technology is already there, didn't the Germans make synthetic diesel during WW2 when they were running short of oil?

Its probably pretty expensive right now, but if it can be worked on technological advances could easily bring down the costs affiliated with it. Like any other technology, what was expensive can be made a lot less so.

The results from online "learning" are in, and they are abysmal, which any teacher could tell you. Even liberals can't deny this.

So this diesel situation again puts them in a real bind. They WANT to close everything down again because they loved the power.

But it's much too risky. They will own all the consequences.

The thing is: sadly, the time for choosing might be over.
