Of course, the government has laws and regulations that make it crime to expose wrong doing on the part of government. Should we sit back and allow them to create laws that let them do as they please, constitution and bill of rights be damned?

Keep believing that. While there has been an outcry from many, the majority either approve of these security measures or don't see them as a real problem so long as there is reasonable oversight. Shouldn't we have the ability to force government to obey the constitution? We can't have government being the final say on things or they will continue to do as they please with no reprisals. When it's the government harming the citizens by trampling on their rights, how do we find out and deal with it if not for whistle blowers?

The government has ignored our immigration laws for years because they believe it's right. I disagree and believe there are other motives, but you can see how they pick and choose which laws to respect and it all depends on what their agenda is at the time.

Disobeying a poorly written law in order to do the right thing is something most Americans can get behind. Some politicians claim immigration laws deserve to be ignored. I say the Patriot Act has gone too far because it targets citizens more than it does terrorists, the very ones it was designed to catch.

Snowden came forth to tell the public what our own government is doing to us. I don't see any other way for justice to prevail in this matter other than someone destroying their career and risking their freedom. It shouldn't be that difficult, but the media and others have turned a blind eye for so long that drastic measures were required.
