That was because she would have been one heartbeat away from the presidency. McCain could have dropped dead from the excitement of being elected to the presidency, leaving Palin as the heir apparent. After listening to her speak, I think most voters knew in their hearts that Palin was not ready for primetime.No, but the Left certainly acted like she was.
