Please explain why you Republicans support the wealthy over your own middle class?

Actually, you do. You just do it from the opposite perspective, because you assume letting the market clear everything is best for everyone.

Incorrect. We assume nothing for anyone else. Some will fail in a free market, everyone knows that. Therefore, we do not believe in what is "best for everyone", only what maintains freedom and liberty for all. Succeed or fail...that's up to you.

I know we'll probably never agree on this, but success and failure are only partially within your own control.

We will NEVER agree on that. If you are fat and miserable it is because you made every choice that was required to be fat and miserable. Stop blaming others for your bad choices.

Please explain Americans why you Republicans support the wealthy over your own middle class?
You misunderstand the argument.

No one has claim on the wealth of others; that some people have more in no way means that those who have less are entitled to a piece of it.
That depends entirely on peripheral circumstances. E.g., how many violent revolutions have been provoked by precisely that kind of imperiously selfish and contemptuously exclusive posture?

The Daily Caller is biased towards the pseudo conservative viewpoint.

Uh, no. Carlson Tucker owns the DC and he's a dedicated Libertarian.
Whatever...Tucker Carlson leans to the right, and his site, The Daily Caller, is biased towards pseudo conservative viewpoints, and I don't know anyone who thinks he's neutral, or leans to the left.

Wrong. He leans neither left nor right, just like every other Libertarian. Limited government, maximum freedom and equal justice are not "right" or "left" leanings. Conservative and Liberal are simply different versions of big government and frankly, we dislike both. You need to read up on what it means to be a Libertarian.

Who knew that when I support individual liberty and freedom for all and equality that I am anti-middle class?

:dunno:

If you vote republican, you only support the illusions of those things. Those things are not what they're about; They're just bumper stickers. Republicans trick people like yourself who suffer from their policies by appealing to a part of the brain, specifically the basal ganglia or the "Reptilian Brain."

What they really advocate for is aristocracy, and damned if they ain't winning that fight.

If you vote republican, you only support the illusions of those things.

Whereas when you vote democrat, you vote the destruction of those things.

Those things are not what they're about; They're just bumper stickers. Republicans trick people like yourself who suffer from their policies by appealing to a part of the brain, specifically the basal ganglia or the "Reptilian Brain."

As opposed to democrats who appeal to the complete LACK of brain in the modern sheeple.

Really sparky? So Obama is one of the poor people?

ROFL

Man are you stupid, which is what your shameful party depends on.

We haven't seen income equality like this since the robber barons. Ignoring that is stupid.

Actually income equality is wider today than the robber baron days. Therefore, when there was very little government meddling in business, we had LESS income inequality, not more. Starting to see the picture here?

More importantly, please explain why income inequality is a bad thing. If a guy is smart, works hard, makes good decisions in launching a business to sell a product that the people want, he'll make good money. How is that bad for anyone else?

Our country was strongest with a strong Middle Class. The income inequality we are experiencing is destroying the Middle Class...the ACTUAL "job creators".

Again, ignoring that is stupid...almost as stupid as thinking the free market will regulate itself and that the modern day Robber Barons will pay a living wage out of the goodness of their generous hearts.

Did someone make a bad choice if they were born paraplegic?

Did someone make a bad choice if a drunk driver hit them and handicapped them as a result?

There are any number of things outside of your control that can happen in life, but it's always Libertarians that brush these things aside in favor of ideology. That's part of why I can't agree with you guys.

I yearn for functional public infrastructures.

You mean like the TSA, Post Office or the DMV?

A lot of countries have them, but they're becoming a rarity in much of America.

Yet government continues to grow. So how can massive expansion of government be the answer?

In America's case, it might be beyond hope. It could very well be that our culture and system are just too dysfunctional and corrupt to properly run public infrastructures.

You know, Shreddy....
...in high school I had a science teacher who expained evolution with an analogy of an infinite number of monkeys sitting at an infinite number of keyboards...and eventually one would accidently type out the works of Shakespeare.

I never really got the concept until I saw your post.

Cuyo. I'm a hell of a lot brighter than you give me credit.

;)

The middle class creates jobs?

How many people do you employ?

Again, ignoring that is stupid...almost as stupid as thinking the free market will regulate itself and that the modern day Robber Barons will pay a living wage out of the goodness of their generous hearts.

Did you make it through high school?

Serious question.

I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

I would love to shake the hand of the fella trying to explain to those dumb freaks that they havne't a clue how good they have it. Even if poor in America, it's a whole lot better than most of the world, at least you have the option to work harder and better yourself. Although fewer and fewer are willing to put in the effort it takes to be successful thanks to the generous social programs.
Fuck, you can even sit on your ass in America and "deserve" a living.
Someone needs to explain to the Russian (and you) that what he lived under in the USSR was not Socialism but Stalinism and that contemporary Denmark, which is a Socialist nation, is known to be the happiest country in the world.
Denmark: The Happiest Place on Earth - ABC News

That ignorant Russian is a perfect example of the kind of brainwashed water carriers for the One Percent who are helping to ruin America. He really believes the stupid nonsense he tried to shove down the throats of those people.

Now you don't really believe that, do you?
Sadly, you probably do.

In 1939 Finland and its southern neighbor Estonia were identical in many ways. Then, in 1940, the USSR occupied Estonia, and it remained under communist rule for 50 years. Here are the words of Mart Laar, Estonia’s former prime minister, stating what communism did to his country:

“Look at what happened in this context during these fifty years and then you can understand how terrible the communist system really is. And it’s not only in the economy. This is in all fields of life—the social structure, cultural standards, education, healthcare, or whatever. When you compare those two countries, which were exactly the same in 1939[,] in 1989, then you will find what communism really means, and how bad it is. Our economy, our nature, and our environment was [sic] destroyed.”

The conclusion:
Their economic and social differences grew so large that no informed person could honestly dispute the pernicious effect that communist rule had on occupied Estonia.
The Filter^: Finland and Estonia

In 1991 Estonia became capitalist, and experienced massive economic growth. They discovered the errors of progressive class warfare.

This is the closest example of the two systems, side by side.
