I served my nation with 6 years of military service. Never once were we required to recite the Pledge .
At least I don't support a Russian dictator over my countries president.

religious convictions do not allow them to aver to anyone other than their God.

Pledging to a flag, it's just a form of nationalistic redundancy indoctrination. Like fish on Friday does not make you any closer to God.

Once again....a person suggests that the pledge of allegiance need not be recited daily....and this tool immediately takes it to mean that someone wants to take way his right to honor his country. What is the need to recite a pledge every day? do we insist that our kids do so in summer? Do we not believe them? I swear, if this dude were a school crossing guard, he'd have the night shift. You are pretending to safeguard our liberty against socialists who exist only in your dopey imagination.

I meant to all the students in the school.

As far as I know their statement was a blanket statement, I am sure many kids didn't care.

When this nation's govt. stops being devious to it's citizens I will gladly want my kids to pledge.

This is one reason I support school vouchers. Kids will still go to public schools like normal and get all the traditional benefits, but if the parents don't like something, they have far more choice and diversity too.

Muslim schools could become common. They can recite all the Muslim poems they want and fingerpaint Mohammed. This would become a non-issue.

Common nutter tactic.

Take something that typically ilicits a positive response from others.....such as the Pledge of Allegience or an American flag pin......and try to claim it as yours. Present it in a disagreeable way....as he did here.....and pretend that it is now a weapon to use against liberals.

Let me tell you something.....you are such a monumental failure as a person and as an American...that imagining you reciting the pledge puts the pledge in a bad light. But...we are both Americans. I am pleased to help provide your safety net in spite of you.
