The national debt continues to rise at an alarming rate and the two major parties are to blame. We are now involved in two proxy wars and the nation is more divided than ever.
Except that it is naive to think another party would be any better, especially if the party didn't really have any control. Let's talk about Libertarians. What do you think would happen if we elected a Libertarian as president and they had 100 Senators and 435 Congresspersons, every one of whom were the duopoly? How about if there were 90 Senators and 400 Congresspersons who were all part of the duopoly? And, even if Libertarians did eventually wind up with some form of actual control, we have no idea that they wouldn't wind up being part of a triopoly.

The thing is, voters in localities vote for Senators and Congresspersons to represent THEM, the voters, and they want these politicians to do everything they can to get them more money for their localities and if these politicians don't deliver on that, they will vote for someone else next election who will get them money and programs for their localities, probably a big factor in why Libertarians are always losers.

I read that about 30% of voters refuse to vote for either Biden or Trump, yet both parties insist on running them............again.

Neither candidate has done anything about the spending problems. Hell, Trump ran on securing the border and with a GOP congress for two years did nothing about it.

All we get is a shit show from the Swamp, so don't look to it for answers.

I think the truest words Trump ever spoke was that the system is rigged, that is, it's rigged against the voters.
It's more like Republicans refuse to vote for Biden and Democrats refuse to vote for Trump. Yes, Democrats have a rigged deck they are using to nominate Biden but that is not the case on the other side. The Republican establishment didn't push Trump as their nominee. The Republican establishment don't want Trump as the nominee. But, Trump can run if he wants and he is and the Republican voters want Trump. The republican party is being dragged into the Trump nomination against their will because it is the Republican voters who own the will. The Republican establishment doesn't really have a choice. To deny Trump the nomination against the will of the Republican voters would lead to Armagedeon.

Two much hate & discontent, We NEED to be looking at the problems,
Not looking for someone too save us. Hard as it is, only solution is working together,
you will never convince me that there are no knowable or honest people in either party.
But if we are so lazy that we only vote in party hacks, screamers and people with name recognition
MINUS any government experience or knowledge.

Government has become one big get rich scheme. From the corrupt politicians raking in millions on down to the government employees mooching off working people. Spend spend spend until the country collapses financially. Bankrupt future generations, who cares am I right?

Independents (formally Libertarians) have grown massively in number, because it's embarrassing to call yourself a Republican these days.
