Political Quiz

Repeal child labor laws:
We support repeal of laws that impede the ability of any person to find employment, such as minimum wage laws, so-called "protective" labor legislation for women and children, & governmental restrictions on the establishment of private day-care centers. We deplore government-fostered forced retirement, which robs the elderly of the right to work. We oppose all government welfare, relief projects, and "aid to the poor" programs.

Libertarian Party on Jobs

Abolish the FDA:
We should replace harmful government agencies like the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) with more agile, free-market alternatives.

Healthcare - Libertarian Party

$125 billion Defense budget:
If the US were to pursue a policy of defending its own borders while avoiding foreign intervention, we could realistically reduce our defense budget to as little as $125 billion over the next five years.

Libertarian Party on Defense

Legalize crack cocaine:
We favor the repeal of all laws creating "crimes" without victims, such as the use of drugs for medicinal or recreational purposes.

Platform | Libertarian Party

Eliminate all federal environmental regulations:
Pollution of other people's property is a violation of individual rights. Strict liability, not arbitrary government standards, should regulate pollution. We demand the abolition of the Environmental Protection Agency.

Libertarian Party on Environment

They would end all workplace safety regulations:

We call for the repeal of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. This law denies the right to liberty and property to both employer and employee, and it interferes in their private contractual relations.

National Platform of the Libertarian Party

More fun stuff:

We oppose all so-called "consumer protection" legislation which infringes upon voluntary trade, and call for the abolition of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

1972 Libertarian Party Platform - LPedia

We advocate the abolition of the Federal Aviation Administration, which has jeopardized safety by arrogating to itself a monopoly of safety regulation and enforcement. We call for privatizing the air traffic control system and transferring the FAA's other functions to private agencies.

1992 National Platform of the Libertarian Party - Critiques Of Libertarianism

We advocate the abolition of the Food and Drug Administration and particularly its policies of mandating specific nutritional requirements and denying the right of manufacturers to make non-fraudulent claims concerning their products.

How do you feel about legalizing crack cocaine?

I am more centrist than libertarian but more libertarian than authoritanian.

There are a lot of things about the libertarian party that I disagree with. In fact, there is no party that exists that I could ever agree with on 100% of the issues. Like I said earlier in this thread, anyone who can tow the party line in it's entirety isn't really an independent thinker.

The Libertarian Party is a three percent party of propellorheads who tell themselves that most Americans are Libertarians and don't know it.

And the tard who started this topic thinks other people are the clowns. BWA-HA-HA-HA-HA!

I never said I was a member of the libertarian party, clown. :D

Obviously, this dummy doesn't understand "orientation" and thinks this means that you follow a specific Party depending on your results from this quiz. It doesn't mean that. It is just a graph of where you are on the political spectrum, clown. :D

You poor thing. You accused me of being a lefty, and yet YOU are the one on the wrong side of the line, retard.

Oh, man. That's priceless.

Classic projection.

I consider myself a centrist, and not really a libertarian, although I do lean towards things like body sovereignty.

As far as the drug questions, laws against drugs don't really work. If a person is going to use drugs, they are going to use drugs. There is not much you can do about other people's poor decisions in life.

So, what issues do you agree with the right on? List some because I've read your posts, and as far as I've seen, there is no view that you hold that is in agreement with the "right". :D Lol.

You probably answered a lot of the important questions "neutral." Am I right? :D

I know that these have been posted before, but we do have some new members and people's views can change (rarely), so I wanted to post another political quiz for us to take. Please take it and post your results! Don't be shy! ;)

Political Spectrum Quiz - Your Political Label

Last year there was a thread for that Political Compass test and I did that also.

What political leaning are you? Take the test

Only a few squares from Hitler. Go figure.

Questions the Libertarian quiz does not ask, which it should:

"Do you believe all drugs, including crack cocaine, should be legalized?"

"Do you believe the FDA should be abolished?"

"Do you believe the USDA should be abolished?"

"Do you believe child labor laws should be repealed?"

"Do you believe federal workplace safety regulations should be repealed?"

"Do you believe the FAA should be abolished?"

"Do you believe the Federal Reserve should be abolished?"

"Do you believe our national defense budget should be no more than $125 billion a year?"
I agree, all excellent questions.

Wow. Not only do you make shit up in your head about me, your eyes clamps shut when you see posts by me which contradict your delusions.

That's the only explanation for why you have missed all my posts about tax expenditures. That's the only explanation for why you have missed all my pro-life posts, and my pro-gun posts, and my pro business posts, and my posts about how to get LESS government in health care. And how to deregulate in a smart way.

I guess when you saw me fighting manufactured bullshit from the parroting pseudocons, you assumed the truth is a liberal thing.

It always amazes me that when someone debunks a lie, a tard automatically assumes that person must be a liberal.

That's very revealing of their character.

It's also very revealing that when I fight the rampant bigotry and racism on this forum, it is assumed I am a liberal.

This guy g5000 and Jake Starkey, two of worst faux republicans in the world. I mean seriously, these guys can't act at all.
If you're a self-proclaimed Centrist, how is it that you know so much about what a Republican is supposed to be?

Not surprised. I am Socialist economic wise but very socially conservative. I consider myself a Racial Socialist. It looks like as I expected I am the only one here with my results or even close to it.
