Almost half of those surveyed identified as Democrats or leaning Democratic so 61% of the people surveyed in the poll in which nearly half call themselves Democrats or Democratic leaning think Trump tried to obstruct the investigation. I'm guessing if almost half the people had identified as Republicans or leaning Republican that number would be going the other way.

Thank you for this information. I'm surprised the 61% number is not much higher if well over 50% are Democrats when you consider so-called "independents".

In reality, as much as polls have some value, we all say what a 99% chance of winning an election means. If they can be so wrong with that poll, many polls can be suspect. In the end; as with the election poll, hopefully facts will lead the end results, not media spin and political motivations.
