Poll: Americans don’t think gun control is important

One thing I'm curious about though bigrednec.

If you claim that all gun owners think alike, and we know that some gun owners are murderous rampaging slaughterers of children and innocent people...then does that mean that all gun owners are murderous rampaging slaughterers of children and innocent people - and maybe they just haven't all come out of the gun closet yet...?

No. It does not. Do you ever tire of being called stupid?

ok how many gun owners are their in America?

There is a reason why their are so many FFL out there.
There are more than 129,817 federally licensed firearms dealers in the United States, according to the latest Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives numbers (as of Aug. 1) . Of those, 51,438 are retail gun stores, 7,356 are pawn shops and 61,562 are collectors, with the balance of the licenses belonging mostly to manufacturers and importers of firearms and destructive devices.
According to ATF reports, in 2010 there were 5,459,240 new firearms manufactured in the United States, nearly all (95 percent) for the U.S. market. An additional 3,252,404 firearms were imported to the United States.
Right now if you don’t have a criminal record and you have not been adjudicated as mentally incompetent, you can buy guns. In 2010 the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) ran 16,454,951 background checks for firearms purchases. Only a small number of these purchases (78,211 or 0.48 percent) were denied.
Since 1998 there have been more than 151 million NICS checks. Each check doesn’t necessarily represent a single gun, just a single transaction. If one were to purchase two guns at one time, there would only be one check.

Guess that shuts that bull shit down

Oh, sorry I misunderstood.
If I don't have to prove that this is your first loss that makes it a lot easier.
Anyway, now that you've lost this debate, how does it feel?

That's what I am saying PROVE IT. You haven't.

The very obvious fact (well, obvious to anyone with even the most basic grasp of statistics) that you've drawn the completely wrong conclusion from your own posted numbers is surely proof enough.

Then, the fact that the poll results that you posted, and claimed were evidence that support for gun control was way less than 90%, were actually the results of a completely different question than the 90% one.

And even more then, when you post poll results that you claim proves your point, but also dismiss other poll results that you don't like because they're wrong without any proof except that you know better.

And then once again, when you claim to be able to speak authoritatively for all gun owners when you have no idea at all what all gun owners think.

Al of these points and more go to the indisputable conclusion that you have completely failed in any point that you were trying to make in this thread.

Never read all your reply got too "Then, the fact that the poll results that you posted" Liar.
