That is correct, but the reason for that was their population growth. A few years back, it was reported the medical personnel was growing faster than the population. More facilities had to open up, more equipment had to be purchased.
Okay, you tell yourself that buddy. I know you really need to believe the biggest problem in medicine is patients have legal redress for medical malpractice.
Out here in the real world, it's that medical costs are spiralling out of control because they can milk them for everything they've got.
And yet very few Americans leave here and head for Europe because of this utopia you speak of.
So who pays for all this vacation time and healthcare in Europe?
The rich. But the rich pay their fair share over there.
Most people don't leave their homes unless they absolutely have to.
