Pork is back on the prison menu

They aren't anti meat...they're anti farmer/landowner. They want to evict rural people from the countryside. They shut down the forest products and fishing industries...now they want to eliminate farming and ranching. And oil and coal production.
That was dumb. If that was true they wouldnt hand out welfare to farmers.
Way to shine a bright light on your ignorance of the subject. But then, you think the amount of welfare a person gets is an indication of their SUCCESS.

Ah Kosher, I think you have gone completely around the bend. Meat is getting increasingly spendy. So I imagine those that are running prisons are looking at the budget. And there is the problem of major drought in many of the ranching and farming areas. Ranchers have had to cut back on their herds, and many of the farms on the short stick of the water rights have had to let crops burn up because of lack of water. And this year, we have had hundreds of square miles burn up in grazing areas in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. If we get plenty of rain and snow this winter, those areas will be green again, but in the meantime, it is lean times for the ranchers that were depending on that range.

There is X amount of land, and Y amount of people. As Y increases, the amount of X available for ranching and farming decreases. So what the land produces increases in value, provided that the land can continue to produce.

Oh God please don't get all pontificate-y again. You're a soft handed progressive who can't afford to live in the areas of the state you think you have a say in managing. Shut the fuck up and sit down. You have zero connections in the rural reaches and zero knowledge of what you're talking about, aside what you've been indoctrinated with via pb fucking s.
