Predict the Trump verdict. (Poll)

How many jurors will find Trump NOT guilty of ANY super-secret felony counts?

  • 0 Meaning Trump is guilty of a felony and could face prison time

    Votes: 25 43.1%
  • 1 not guilty, meaning a "hung jury", and Trump walks

    Votes: 9 15.5%
  • 2 not guilty, same hung jury, Trump walks

    Votes: 9 15.5%
  • 3+ not guilty, Trump walks

    Votes: 15 25.9%

I'm going with 12 jurors coming back with a guilty verdict on multiple felonies. How many, I don't know. Merchan will give him 2 years in prison, a big fine and 2 years probation which will take two years for an Appellate court to reduce it to 6 months and 2 years probation. Let's see I will be right. I'd say there is a 35% chance on a hung jury. And, by the way, a hung jury is NOT a 'not guilty' verdict, because a mistrial (hung jury) can be TRIED AGAIN. No 'not guilty' verdicts' can be tried again under the 5th amendment's double jeopardy clause. Therefore, your poll is flawed, not to mention #1 & #2 are the same.
Good response.

My assumption is that a hung jury means Trump walks out free, unless there is a re-trial.
I'm not sure what the odds of a retrial are. Hopefully very low.
I don't see how 1 & 2 are the same. guilty v hung jury

"super secret felony counts"
I'm not aware that that is a thing
I suspect he will be convicted of more than a few non secret felony counts.
Without due process?
They tried that to keep Trump off ballots.

Closing arguments start Tuesday morning, then the jury instructions, then the jury decides the verdicts.

So my take on it is that Trump will be found guilty of the misdemeanor bookkeeping counts, and not guilty on the any of the (3) "super-secret felonies"

So Trump walks, since the misdemeanor counts all expired (unless they hid one of the "super-secret felonies", which was a "no")

I'm betting that "innocent until proven guilty" holds serve in the jury, for the "super-secret felonies"
I didn't vote because I have no idea if justice will be served and Trump is not found guilty by his so called peers in a district that voted nearly 90% for Briben .. our Constitutional republic has suffered a serious injury from the lefts lawfare ..

A hung jury does not mean “not guilty,” no matter how you phrase it. Redo the poll.
is that what the commies will shout if Trump isn't convicted ... Joe McCarthy was right !

Even if there is no indictment?

Where in the US Constitution does it say that a jury can convict someone without due process?

Total bullshit that will be reversed on appeal.

Without due process? I don’t think you understand what you are saying.

Even if NY made ALL falsification of bussiness records criminal that would still be 100% Constitutional, so clearly your objection is false.

tRump committed insurrection. He is disqualified from hold office in the US. As are numerous congresscritters.
in this country the voters decide who's qualified to be POTUS .. we know commiecrats like you are trying to make it otherwise ... Joe McCarthy was right !

I honest have no idea. I suspect the jury is anti Trump, but they could surprise us.

What I can’t predict is that no matter what happens, someone is going to be pissed….

Although things like this dont inspire confidence:

During jury selection, Trump has heard himself described by those under consideration as racist and sexist and a narcissist. He’s been presented with social media posts calling for officials to “lock him up.” He’s been told, to his face, that he’s “very selfish and self-serving.”

To top it off, some of those people — including the one who called him selfish and said she outright dislikes him — are now members of the jury of 12 Manhattanites who will decide whether to convict him of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to conceal a sex scandal.

Your take is wrong, as plain reading of the indictment would show.

34 Counts.

The Jury will be Hung on Many, but NOT on ALL counts.

Trump will be found GUILTY on some of the 34 Counts.
This ^^^^ is normal, it happens all the time in jury decisions.

What is the 'punishment/sentence' for being found GUILTY on some of the counts.
I have NO IDEA.
But that’s the thing…all of the counts are basically based off the same alleged crime, so if he is found not guilty of one, wouldn’t he have to be found not guilty of all?

From what I understand, all of the counts are the same charge, it’s just that every time someone moved a piece of paper, they added it to the count.

What is the crime alleged to upgrade it from second degree to the first degree? There are people out there who still don’t know. Since Bragg didn’t put it in the indictment, some would say the issue is muddy.

The prosecutor wants a 'guilty' verdict, the judge wants a 'guilty' verdict, and the jury wants a 'guilty' verdict, because they all want to go down in history as the people who took down Trump.

I think the two lawyers on the jury will vote not guilty on all charges. They will understand the massive overreach and consequences of allowing this clown show to convict. Plus they have a vested interest in not legitimizing this novel legal farce.
lets hope the lefts threats and intimidation doesn't persuade them to vote in agreement with the communists on the jury ..

All prosecutors want a conviction. Duh.

And you are mistaking your fantasies for fact.

You don’t know anyone on that jury to accuse ANY of them of not taking their duty seriously.
