Repatriation and Foreign Direct Investment funds start showing double digit GDP growth by Sept. 50% probability.

The OP is about government workers who all get the same amount of salary pay for the same job.......whether they do their jobs or not. The proposal is to give Departments the ability to fire or discipline those who do not, and to reward those who do.

Trump is using the VA Accountability Act, which gave the Secretary of Veterans Affairs greater authority to fire and discipline workers, as a model. The White House says that law has resulted in the dismissal of 1,470 employees, the suspension of 443, demotions for 83 others last year.

In my opinion, the Government, as a social safety net of last resort, should try to engage in the best training available for Labor. Only management should be subject to that rule.

For all who criticize Trump, consider the plight.

11 Million+ illegal immigrants, costing taxpayers $135B a year.
$20T+ debt
Add in the massive social security obligations and other entitlement programs, and it's clear something must give.

Who is to blame? Former administrations and ultimately the citizens for not demanding more from government and not wanting to slow down. All in the West are struggling with debt and economic issues, as we all want to be highly leveraged economies while trying to maintain Keynesian economic policies which are horrible on the macro and micro level.

In short. If Trump had a super majority, bet the budget would have been significantly lower, but as Rand Paul rightly stated, no one wants to stop, both sides want to spend for their political benefit.

This is the greatest National Security risk to America, followed closely by Chinese trade abuses. Based on Trumps talk in the past, it's clear he understand it. What he didn't understand and most likely underestimated, was the other government reps resistance to change and improve the economy.

It's why as he stated "we need more GOP to be elected in 2018". He runs his businesses always looking for deals and negotiating, because of the structure of the U.S government with checks and balances (in general a great system but the other side is becoming more and more anti-Trump, some might say anti-American and not operating in good faith ) it's impossible to get anything done unless you capitulate greatly to the other side.

All said, he has to do whatever is within his control to do. that means, smaller government, massive cuts in some cases, looking for inefficiencies and controlling the procurement process in a way that saves money.

You guys have overspent. So has Canada and 90% of Europe. We're all in trouble if America goes insolvent. It worries me that too many don't understand it, which is why I wanted Rand Paul to win the presidency and then supported Trump when Paul wisely left the Primaries early.

If you notice, Trump didn't even publicly criticize Rand. He KNOWS Rand loves his country as Trump does, and he knows he is right about overspending. Many in government know, only the GOP state it publicly. Cuts should be welcomed, the private sector will be booming. Don't lose hope, just remember at least you live in America.

The non-stated intent of all government bureaucracies is to get bigger and receive more funding.
