problem solved, Republican candidate selected for you

If this election cycle has revealed anything, it's how bad the Two Party system has become. Add to that a Liberally biased and mostly worthless media, you have the ingredients of the shit cake we have for American Politics today.
Chief reason the remove Freedom of the Press clause from the Bill of Rights. Why give the media protections to be exclusive lapdogs of the Left? They don't even pretend to be fair.

At least Trump has independent showing up at his rallies

Yeah, they're called protesters.

In any event, you're confusing volume with votes. Just because Trump supporters are loud does not mean that they get to vote twice. In a Trump v Clinton match-ups, Independents largely would be holding their noses, whomever they vote for. But they are far more willing to hold their noses voting for Clinton than they are Trump.

Yeah.. that's why without the "superdelegates" she's barely beating BERNIE FUCKING SANDERS (aka Bernie Who? from Where? Didn't he used to be on Sesame Street?)..... apparently the Democratic "Base" is so wildly enthusiastic about the Queen of Corruption that most of them will be certifiably comatose by election day.

Yes, you keep hoping that. has to be sad to have a team so pathetic that you hope to win by forfeit.

I don't have a "team" ya fucking moron... I hate both parties and mindless partisan lemmings (like you) equally, I was just pointing out what you're obviously too brainwashed to have noticed about the politician you worship.

I think you need to get over your "hate".

I look at this at a choice. If the GOP nominated someone reasonable like Kasich, I'd probably vote for him. Unfortunately, Trump has reduced it to a White Identity Party.

Well the Democrats had their candidates picked for them. so what's the big deal eh. WE THE PEOPLE get screwed again by these dirty bastards in government

Yeah I'll work on that.. right after you get over your gullibility, ignorance and propensity for politician worship.

You've obviously mistaken me for someone that cares about which politicians boots you prefer to lick, here's a clue for you buckwheat; none of 'em give a fuck about you and none of them are interested in doing anything for you, you're nothing more to these elitist weasels than a sheep to be sheared for tax dollars and votes.

Republican leadership going to cause a contested convention then pick Ryan as the candidate to lose to Hillary

There'll be a revolution

A Genuine American Revolution

You think electing Napoleon on our side is the beginning of revolution?
Paul Ryan is Napoleon Dynamite

Guess that makes Trump Pedro.
Bernie is the egg farmer

And the current rules can be changed the week before Convention to permit anyone to be nominated.

Next.

Well he has to win 8 States or territories to get on the ballot. If he manages that then the delegates can vote for him
Is that correct? It was my understanding (could be wrong) that the 8-state rule only counts on the first ballot, and if no one wins the first ballot, it's essentially up for grabs.
.

So you are on a political discussion board telling us you don't vote for anyone.... um, yeah, got it.

You're like one of those guys who gets on a Star Trek board and complains about how much you hate Star Trek. I think the technical term is "Troll".

Uh-Huh, the next time you talk to that straw man in your head please ask it if it reads English, K?

LOL, You upset that I might be stepping on your turf Mr. Troll? or is it that you just don't like the taste of your own medicine?

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Won’t Say if She Approves of Superdelegates’ Role in Democratic Nominating Process

'It's not a matter of like or dislike'

Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D., Fla.) wouldn’t say Tuesday whether she approved of the role of superdelegates in her party’s nomination process, saying it wasn’t “a matter of like or dislike.”

The role of superdelegates, who are unelected and can support whomever they choose at the convention, has angered supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) due to the superdelegates’ overwhelming preference for Hillary Clinton.

Schultz, for her part, has faced frequent accusations of rigging the party process for Clinton, including limiting debates and denying crucial voter data to Sanders’ campaign.

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer interviewed Schultz about the contentious battle between Clinton and Sanders for the nomination. Clinton leads in pledged delegates as well, but Sanders’ sturdy challenge to her candidacy has led to wider discussions about how democratic the Democratic Party is with its nominating process.

all of it here:

They would like to do that, but really it has to be Trump or Cruz. Their supporters will largely accept the other, but bypassing them and going to anyone else would alienate both groups. And I seriously doubt Ryan would go along with that even if he's interested for that reason

Ryan is not interested.

However, the mainstream GOP leadership is not worried too much about the feelings of the Cruzettes or the Trumpeters.

I think they will care when Trump goes third party and the GOP candidate comes in third place.

Here's the problem with this scenario. If you are going to deny Trump the nomination through shenanigans like appointing a bunch of delegates who don't support Trump and turn on him on the first ballot,t hey need a viable alternative.

They don't have one. Cruz might get enough votes, but the fact is Cruz is only the 'not Trump".

Cankles can't beat an old ugly lifetime socialist white dude that no one ever heard of before now...how is she going to beat the R?

Easily. She's getting well over 50% of the Democratic vote. Trump and Cruz haven't passed 50% in any primary yet.

Hillary has a comfortable lead without the superdelegates... Her lead is larger than anytime during Obama race... Because it is proportional 250 is a fairly large lead... She wins in NY she has it effectively without California...

Bernie will go to convention and whats wrong with that...
