putin killed GRU- Wager´s boss Prigozhin I Moscow announced that Prigozhin and Utkin died in the plane crash in Moscow's Tver region.

“Mass media close to Prigozhin is reporting that in the event of Prigozhin's death, GRU Wagner has developed an action plan, which will be launched immediately.

Shocking, I was expecting him to slip and fall off a 10 story balcony.

Mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin, who led a brief armed rebellion against Russia earlier this year, was on the passenger list of a private jet that crashed Wednesday, killing all 10 people on board, emergency officials said. It wasn’t immediately clear if Prigozhin was on the plane.

The crash immediately raises suspicions since the fate of the founder of the Wagner private military company has been the subject of intense speculation ever since he mounted the mutiny. The Kremlin said he would be exiled to Belarus, but the mercenary chief, whose troops were some of the best fighting forces for Russia in Ukraine, has since reportedly popped up in Russia.

The crash also comes after Russian media reported that a top general linked to Prigozhin was dismissed from his position as commander of the air force.

A plane carrying three pilots and seven passengers that was en route from Moscow to St. Petersburg went down more than 100 kilometers (60 miles) north of the capital, according to officials cited by Russia’s state news agency Tass. It was not clear if Prigozhin was among those on board, though Russia’s civilian aviation regulator, Rosaviatsia, said he was on the manifest.

The GRU may well be planning Putin's exit.

Always be suspicious. He could have been a Western asset who flipped and the Russians have him in safekeeping while simutaneously showing the world (and their military) what unrortunate random occurences unfold for such people. Of course it could also be exactly as it seems. This is for thoee in the higher pay grade to figure out.

It could be that Russia dealt with a traitor who attempted a coup against the state.

Or, the CIA could have done it?

America still hasn't dealt with its traitor.
Yup. Biden has much to answer for but I'm glad Putin did away with another internal enemy.

Though the Wagner General and its actual founder Utkin was also listed on the manifest of the downed Embraer Jet, it is still too early to know for sure if both Wagner leaders are dead, or what this will mean longterm.

There were — at least according to some early reports —reportedly two Prigozhin jets involved. Personally I’m hoping the one downed by missile or bomb was only a decoy.

At this point a continuing civil war between siloviki loyal to Prigozhin and Putin’s own gangsters would probably best serve the long-run interests of Russian civil society, and of Ukrainian nationalism too.

There is also confusion regarding the Wagner currently stationed in Belarus. Moscow media believe a lot would depend on Lukasenka if Prigozhin's death is confirmed.

Wagner is ready for match on Moscow N2
