No. Hate speech is like racism. So whites can be racist (and they all are, of course) but blacks can't be racist. Just by definition.
Similarly, hate speech means speech the Left hates, like small government, lower taxes, less welfare, etc. Speech that the Left likes, like anti white male Christian gun business, can never be hate speech. Again, by definition.

No one is trying to criminalize it. And just because you think someone is trying to do that doesnt mean you have to support criminalizing flag burning just because someone else does something.

Conservatives have tried to ban flag burning. They all still get all worked up over Piss Christ, too, all these decades later, even if they have never seen it and only heard about it.

I've never caredabout "Piss Christ", per se. I object strongly to using tax dollars to foot the bill for such trash. Call it free speech if you want, but other people should not have to give up their hard-earned cash to subsidize it.

Nobody is criminalizing hate speech. You are free to spout any hateful rhetoric you want to. That does not exempt you from consequences for what you have said

What that means is you can't go to jail for what you say. It doesn't mean you are exempt from consequences for what you say. Those consequences can be getting fired from your job, having your business boycotted or getting kicked out of school

Standards of conduct still apply. I worked 33 years for the Federal Government. If I engaged in hate speech, I would be fired
