Question for my conservative friends here.

We live in a banana republic.

There is no rule of law.

The government has no credibility on anything.

The rule of law is why Trump is not King Trump.
The US being a banana republic and not having a rule is law is why Joe Potatohead and Crooked Hillary are not in jail and Joe Potatohead got away with stealing an election.

Cool, stick your head back in the right wing noise machine. Quick.

The point is, this and every other BOGUS lawsuit and impeachment brought against Trump would NEVER happen to a Democrat. The reason he is the most attacked and litigated President in history is because he is the number one political enemy of the Democrats. They are using all of their weapons including the DOJ, The FBI the IRS and their Media relentlessly against him. There are several OTHER law suits waiting in the wings if this one doesn't work out for the Democrats. This case is a joke, as is our Department of "Justice".

Did it ever cross your mind that Trump may be at fault and should be indicted?

If Trump is found guilty in the documents case with Cannon presiding, will you agree the government proved its case and Trump deserves the punishment meted out?
Before the obvious question is asked, yes I will believe the government did not prove its case if he is acquitted with Cannon presiding..
The liberal versus conservative paradigm is intellectual buffoonery !

Hillary Clinton, by virtue of her office, became possessed of documents containing classified information. Hillary Clinton retained those documents at an unauthorized location.

Your idea that once a criminal is caught, and served with a subpoena, she can destroy the documents and thus be not guilty of the crime, already committed, is ludicrous.
Actualy that's the law. No different than any other instance where the "evidence" is destroyed prior to arrest or indictment.

That's not the law, moron. You don't know you're ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to the law.

The archives have not made this claim that you just made

The Presidential Records Act (PRA) requires the President to separate personal documents from Presidential records before leaving office. 44 U.S.C. 2203(b). The PRA makes clear that, upon the conclusion of the President’s term in office, NARA assumes responsibility for the custody, control, preservation of, and access to the records of a President. 44 U.S.C. 2203(g)(1). The PRA makes the legal status of Presidential records clear and unambiguous, providing that the United States reserves and retains “complete ownership, possession, and control of Presidential records.” 44 U.S.C. 2202. There is no history, practice, or provision in law for presidents to take official records with them when they leave office to sort through,
