Question regarding American ebola victims

They are Americas... we SHOULD be helping them and gettign them the best medical care possible.... and right now, that is in the US.

Yes, they knew the dangers of being over there, but that doesnt make them any less American... and our "responsiility".

If it was your family member, would you just say "aw, leave them over there, they knew what they were getting into".... or... "Bring them home and get them the medical attention they need... and God forbid something happens, they would die with family"

So you don't object to providing all Americans with the best medical care possible.

Not to answer for Diana, but we had the best medical care possible. Now we have Obamacare. The worst medical care possible..........

 Don't be stupid. If we have bad medical care that is what these two ebola victims are receiving.

Obamacare is an insurance. I dont think they are worrying about whether or not these people are using doctors in-network.

We still have some of the best doctors, facilities, and access to medicine.

Disregarding the safety of 310 million+ other family members prioritizing your own is selfish. I understand the wish to keep our own safe, but if doing so endangers others then it simply shouldn't be allowed.

Just about every movie depicting this kind of thing includes at least oine scene where some character who didn't deserve it gets infected and locked in isolation to die. Sucks, but that's called prioritizing things. You don't infect everyone to save one or two people. Though ebola isn't quite that contagious requiring close contact, the premise is the same. Coulda brought experimental treatments to Africa and not put North America at risk flying ebola over here.

It's access to care that the missionaries are fortunate enough to receive. If they had pneumonia, in Georgia somewhere, they'd die trying to find a hospital that would admit them, or an insurance premium they could afford.

But the issue of pestilence and plague is prophesied. And America will not be an exception.

Something that just occured is who wants to bet this is gonna come around to money?

Could have brought the experimental treatment there instead of the disease here. But they didn't. Why? Could it be the pharm company with the treatment said "no?" Keep it here and under their control. If it went there, maybe samples would get stolen and copied and they'd loose money.

Only thing different between here and there minus the treatment is we have better containment. But if they didn't know about the treatment already there'd have been no reason to bring someone who's gonna die anyway here. So they must have known about the treatment when making the decision to bring them back here. Everything else could be brought there whether family to say goodbye, or the monitoring and easing of death via meds.

Only reasonto bring em here is if the treatment couldn't leave the country.
