That you are allowed to rewrite history, attack the values of at least half of all Americans and try so very hard to assassinate the character of historical figures who have long since died, as well as those of us who find your beliefs both ridiculous and extreme, is very good evidence that censorship does not exist in America.
There are limits to free speech, as the Supreme Court has ruled, and both civil and criminal codes recognize - only a liar denies this truth. The fact that some speech should be punished as so vile and provocative as to create an unsafe environment isn't censorship, per se, for there is no prior restraint beyond disapproval.
Congress may make no laws, but Universities can and should, as a first duty of any school is the protection of its students. Those who choose to chant would not have done so except in a safe environment. Why allow cowards to avoid public ridicule and potentially violent disapproval unless you, PC agree, with their obscenity?
