Wallace Beery and even Priests like Pat O'Brien.
Or ones with more gentlemenly manners like John Barrymore
and Paul Muni.Especially a Jack Lemon or if you will Cary Grant.
Or a combination thereof like Spencer Tracy and Frederic March.
Instead we gots these mostly silly men who act as if they can
pull off - Les Miserables - { 1935 .To hear some today talk a guy like
Tom Hanks could.Who has a good voice and inflection but not the
inner manhood.Gerard Depardieu could and did.Hanks is basically
Not an Actors actor,in the strict terms.But in today's market he could
run for President,accorrding to some.Yeah right and Pink Elephants
aren't a figment of the imagination, just look at some the gals traipsing
down a sidewalk today.Overweight and proud.Either Goth in all Black
or with Purple or Pink Hairdos.
This has all taken place on account of how Politics had been used
to make life fashionable while also corrupting.Like being proud
Parents who like being called Mother and Father.And living a
Nuclear Family existence.It's being made Unfashionable.
Now ... more than ever we need us some real Men around.
A Wallace Beery type.Loud and brutish and very easy to understand.
Because right and wrong used to be understood.No need for some
sell-out like a Tom Hanks to make sweeter as with a Mister Rogers neighborhood.
Take that Crap and shove it.Where the Sun shines,if need be.

The King of Hollywood.Most every role his manly character takes over.
Unlike someone like a Paul Muni who gradually takes over a role.
There will never be another Muni or Gable.Nor James Stewart or
John Barrymore.They are irreplaceable and have unique acting talent.
That was Not acquired overnight.Most things in life ... aren't.
So don't let any of Hollywoods jackasses sell you on that.
If need be use a line like " I Vant to be Alone " like Greta Garbo

seemed odd.Maybe it was the fact that while roomates together,
Grant and Scott seemed TOO Content.They litearlly stuck out like
acting sore thumbs.But there no doubting that Grant did act too
persnickety ladylike.Shirt cuffs had to be the exact length.
Scott was more a Western dude.Looked rugged in the face.
Had a large head and square jaw.Grant merely walked funny.
Kind of a cocksure swag.In most all his mid to later roles.

He deserved it.He was a good guy.Hollywood had a history for it's
corrupting influence.

Charles McGraw, John Ericson and the Sexy actress Mari Blanchard }
