Depends on what they are doing, flipping burgers and stocking shelves is worth 7$ max. Digging ditches more like 10$ so and so forth...Any successful business pays more than minimum wage for anyone doing the job. Otherwise people will leave. Many jobs are low skilled and starter wages is good for the business because they can't hire people to lose money and it's good for the person to begin life in the work force.
You thinking it's a good idea for businesses to shut down instead proves you know nothing about business, economics or the job market.
The notion that there all these people trying to raise families on MW is a total fraud.

It;s highly relevant.... we're talking about for the most part unskilled kids.
So? I don't think we should punish kids WILLING TO WORK in this day and age with shit wages.
The progressives fail to understand some jobs can only be paying so much...
They can't be running people's businesses and expect any success... Because career politicians and their federal government have less than zero credibility in these areas...
Exactly, you get what you pay for. A business isn't going to pay an unskilled worker top dollar, there are far too many unskilled workers to choose from
