I don`t think it`s a fragility issue as much as its management trying to "protect" their arms. The pitchers don`t take themselves out of games. This pitcher was pulled after 59 pitches, and he was blowing the batters away and it was pre-arranged. They`re ruining America`s greatest game, IMO.Pitchers today could never achieve the quality innings of a Bob Gibson, even if their managers would let them try, which they never would. Pitchers today are like racehorses today, overly strong and fragile.
