The Democrats long "War on Women" includes murder, and Ted Kennedy was never held to account for his murder of Mary Jo Kopechne, and Democrats even re-elected him to the Senate after his murder of this unfortunate women.

Is it any wonder that moral and ethical Americans hold the Democratic Party in complete contempt?

Well, by god, I'll never vote for Ted Kennedy again! (although it isn't very likely anyway, since he is mostly dead, and I don't live in Massachusetts...)

When he drove his car off that bridge he could have gone to the house that was close by and asked for help.

He didn't do that...instead he walked miles back to his hotel...then when he got there he went to bed without telling anyone that he'd just had an accident in which someone was dead! Now why would any sober person do that?

To get a license to drive you must take a test and demonstrate that you have at least read the rules concerning drunk driving and how driving drunk fucks up the mind. So, one having a driving license who kills while driving drunk is a murderer and knowingly so, having passed the test demonstrating knowledge of the effects of driving drunk and the consequences of those actions.

First of all, that really wasn't covered back in the 1940's or whenever Ted got his first driver's license. It's only recently that MADD and the other goody-two-shoes told us that impaired driving was the worst thing ever.

Second, there was no real evidence drunk driving caused the accident. More likely it was an unlit bridge with no guard rails.

No, not murder, but he was responsible for her death. If you hit someone with your car then left them to die while you drove back to your hotel "in a state of shock", you're held responsible. IOW, his being drunk is no excuse.

except that you didn't prove that he was drunk or that was a factor in the accident. Neither did the people who investigated at the time.

She died because she didn't get out of the car. (The autopsy showed she suffocated, not drowned.)

Did either of those leave the scene of the accident...swim a mile of open ocean water to get back to their hotel and then wait 10 hours to contact the police? Ted Kennedy did all of those things. Then he used his family's influence to get the local authorities to white wash the investigation.
