Republican states rank at the bottom in nearly everything

When Republicans talk about poorly run governments they are projecting.

  • 8 of 10 worst education states are red (NV/AZ other two)
  • 9 of 10 poorest states are red (NM other one)
  • 8 of 10 most federally dependent states are red (NM/AZ other two)
  • 9 of 10 worst states for teen pregnancy are red (NM is the other)
  • 10 of 10 lowest life expectancy states are red
  • 8 of 10 highest divorce states are red (NV/AZ the other two)
  • 9 of 10 states with the highest gun death rates are red (NM is other)
  • 7 of 10 most violent crime states are red
  • 7 of 10 worst suicide rates are red states
  • 8 of 10 most bankruptcy states are red (IL/NV other 2)
But the shitholes are run and populated by Democrats.

Then why is everyone moving to them?
If everyone was moving to the red states that would mean that the blue states are empty, yet that is not the case. West Virginia has the highest population decline of all states and it is red.
The democrat's war on coal doesn't help WV. Makes me wonder why Manchin is still a democrat??
There is no war on coal, coal is a dying commodity because of its efficiency rating versus capital cost and operational cost. Are you still pissed we don't use whale oil?
Coal is second only to nuclear for lowest cost for generating electricity on a large scale.

19% of US electrical capacity is generated by COAL.

Natural gas cost more in capital construction yet is cheaper for operational cost... Which is why coal is declining in use in the US yet exports make up the majority of coal output now.

Since the beginning of the year, the EIA's 2020 production estimate has dropped by 76 million st because of the coronavirus pandemic, which has resulted in a decrease in US power generation and coal production cutbacks by miners.

"COVID-19 and efforts to mitigate it, along with reduced demand from the US electric power sector amid low natural gas prices have contributed to mine idling and mine closures," the EIA said.

A credible link would be proof of your OP.

It means you are ruining a good thing.

Thing about the internet is you can makes all the claims you want no matter how ludicrous they are and sound like you know what you're saying. You don't even need to provide valid and credible sources to back up your claims. It also allows for free form mental gymnastics where as long as it "sounds good to you" then it's a fact.

The internet also allows anyone anywhere and anytime to find some sort of source to backup any idea or belief or agenda they want. It isn't like a library where everything is either fiction or non fiction, the internet allows fiction to be non fiction and vice versa.

So unless you can prove with a credible and a reliable nonbiased source for every claim I will consider them all to just be bait to try and poke at people who don't have the same political ideals as you.

They were linked further down. I should have put in OP.

I have no control of influence over any of the processes but thanks for playing.

1. Coal is a viable source of electrical generating capacity, second only to nuclear in $/Mw
2. Biden and the democrats are killing coal, no new plants means no coal mining
3. When coal plants are decommissioned, other plants need to be built, so electrical costs will skyrocket
4. High electrical costs will cost the US jobs, Xiden lied, that added cost is a hidden tax we all pay
5. Xiden is "America Last" aka Putin's Bitch
6. If/when people switch to EVs that will make the electrical costs skyrocket even more

There has been no coercion on building a coal plant from Biden, if you want one build one, yet capitalist prefer to use natural gas because it is dirt cheap..Electric cost skyrocket because of unregulated energy sources that break down during cold weather like in Texass...

I live in a Red State ... The funny thing is that when you apply the same question to the cities in the State ...
The worst of those major population areas are all Blue.
In Fact ... The Four largest and Top of the Worst all have been run by Democrat African-American Women.

If you just want to go by statistics ... There are plenty to choose from ...

You ever hear that saying? "Less is More?" ... thats why people are fleeing Blue states to Red States. I think Colorado may be a blue state now but only because so many Californians fled there for refuge and then changed the politics only by their sheer numbers. But it was the lifestyle of the "red" state that attracted them there.

A lot of those stats you mention are because even these Red States have BIG Democrat run, hellhole cities that skew the statistics.

Little Rock AK, St Louis MO, Birmingham AL, those are just a few.

Coal is dying. It has nothing to do with Democrats. It has been supplanted by natural gas which is cleaner.
