The plan is exactly the same with democrats as republicans, the federal reserves raises interest rates and takes other steps to slow down the economy. It works amazing well. Unfortunately, it often ends in a recession if the Fed doesn't get it right. They have so much power to reduce the money supply, they can't fail to stop inflation. The trick is to do so without bring on a major recession.

The people that have the plan to stop inflation is always the Federal Reserve. It's their job not the administration.
