Yanno.....................if the minimum wage would have kept up with inflation, everyone would be making 10.50/hour or more.
But..............I guess that capitalism says that we should take better care of the stockholders than what we do for the workers that actually produce the goods.
Corporations aren't people, they're greedy blood sucking ticks.[/QU
I implore everyone to type into their search program to see what they would be making in a Socialist Environment like Australia.
Simply type into your search engine, "Australia wages for a blank worker", just fill in the blank with your occupation.
I think some of the poor people extremely angry about their wages will notice how much they would make.
I have several friends in Carpentry that are either Libertarian or Republican and all poor (and angry about it). A carpenters wage in Australia is $27.35 per hour.
The wage is voted for by the people, THAT is what Socialism actually is...nothing more.
Welfare has NOTHING to do with Socialism or Capitalism. It is it's own entity that shows up in both.
And to end, this post isn't to sell Socialism, it's to inform the zombies of what it actually is. And to prove this, Australia's Crony-Socialism is going through the same flaws as our Crony-Capitalism is going through. If you can control the Government, you can control your wage......in either case.
Link to where wages are voted for by the people?
"Link to the term SOCIALISM". I know Fox News paints Socialism is welfarism, it's the reason for the post.
