Israel can't just run the rest of the Palestinians out of Palestine. Every time Israel takes the meat head approach to its problems, like Lebanon, the flotilla, the Gaza wars, settlements, etc. it loses legitimacy on the world stage. Every time mortars are fired from Gaza to Israel the Israelis officially state that they will not allow the Israeli population to suffer these without reprisals. Hamas obviously enjoys these reprisals, or they wouldn't keep up the attacks on Israel.
