It’s important to remember that scientists always focus on the evidence, not on opinions. Scientific evidence continues to show that human activities (primarily the human burning of fossil fuels) have warmed Earth’s surface and its ocean basins, which in turn have continued to impact Earth’s climate. This is based on over a century of scientific evidence forming the structural backbone of today's civilization.

Science is done by scientists. IOW, people who have their own agendas and biases. The 'evidence' obtained from experiments and observation depends on the objectivity and integrity of those who conduct them, and it is quite possible to arrange a desired outcome simply by changing the input parameters and assumptions and the process itself. The sad truth is that politics is invasive in Science as well as everywhere else, and therefore is untrustworthy.

So, what do we do about it? Well, when it comes to global warming and climate change we see an alarming trend: every fucking study and trend that portends disaster has been wrong. And these people want trillions of dollars to fight a problem that they have been wrong about for some 30+ years. Sorry, no more.
