Rosie - Newt should read a history book

Ummmmmm....not exactly

Socialism is the government controlling the means of production. Any privately owned insurance company is not socialism because a private entity is making decisions on your coverage. Having hundreds of insurance companies competing for healthcare dollars is not socialism

Unfortunately for your theory, government makes most of the decisions. They determine what services can be offered, who can offer them, what qualifications the need to have, and a million other things,

Government makes most of the important decisions.

Important decisions like what path your medical treatments should take? Like what treatments you qualify for? Like which doctors you can see? Like how much you have to pay?

Those decisions are made by Insurance Companies every day without government involvement

Obama.... ?

Obama: POTUS, Nobel Prize winner
The Nobel Peace prize means little now that Obama got it for doing nothing. The POTUS part was bought for him. The man has accomplished nothing that makes him great. He didn't write those two books he claims. He is an imposter.

I've already detailed why Obama justly deserved his Nobel Peace Prize on this thread......try to keep up

Obama: POTUS, Nobel Prize winner

lol... Sooo, what did Obama win that NPP for again and I guess that makes Bush something great as he was President for 2 terms even...

The Award of the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama was a no brainer. It will go down in history as one of the most significant Peace Prizes ever awarded

Barack Hussein Obama was born to a white mother and black father at a time when his father would have been lynched in much of the United States for marrying a white woman. From this humble beginning he rose to be President of the most powerful nation on earth

The Nobel committee has long recognized accomplishments in racial harmony as the furtherment of peace. Previous prizes to Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu were examples

The election of a black man in historically racist America is a significant accomplishment.

No question President Obama deserved his Nobel Peace Prize

What the FUCK has Obama done to help racial tensions in America?

I have seen NOTHING but class warfare rhetoric come out of his dumbass mouth.

"It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks’ greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere…That’s the world! On which hope sits!"

Only to Republicans

In other words, he deserves it because he's black?

Of course, eliminating racism isn't the purpose of the Nobel Peace Prize.

take a breath dear. we know you all are proud of owning black people. you have to list them for all to see.

It's a shame that certain people feel they have to elect someone based upon color of their skin over the person's qualifications and past experience. I'd rather an individual earn his position through his merits and character, over just a simple "opportunity" to make political history. One produces a strong leader that has the ability and resources to bring a country together while encouraging it's citizens to move foward towards a common goal . . . . . the other creates national uncertainty with a lack of any true leadership guidance, under the burden of "playing politics" to divide a nation as a means to achieving its goals, OVER the hope coming together to reach towards a brighter future. One encourages and touts a country's individual greatness and ability to achieve, the other focuses only on blame and discouragement as a political weapon to obtain their ideological goals.

It is about NOT voting for skin color. The right votes white.

Republicans would never support and elect a black man? Just how much of an IDIOT do you have to be? We have Republican voters who look at a politician's conservative values, race isn't as important an issue like it is for Liberals.

I'm sure, however, that's the reason why Herman Cain (R) was ahead in the polls until all the convenient accusations came foward.

Tim Scott (R) is the first African-American Republican to be elected to the South Carolina congress in 100 years. But don’t let that fool you; though welcomed with open arms by the Congressional Black Caucus, Scott ardently opposed membership stating, “My campaign was never about race.”

Allen West (R) is the first African-American Republican congressman from Florida since Reconstruction. West, a tea party favorite, said his Democratic CBC colleagues are failing to recognize problems in African-American communities.
Rep. Allen West considers quitting Congressional Black Caucus - Reid J. Epstein - POLITICO.com

Also Republicans would never stand behind and support the choice of an elected official who was black, like Michael Steele (R) who was the seventh Lieutenant Governor of Maryland, the first African American elected to statewide office in Maryland. I'm sure they would also never position to have a black man as chairman to the Republican Party.

It's the Democrat commentators that push the racist remarks on a black politician, when they find one that's a conservative Republican. Never came across a column where a conservative used these harsh racial remarks of a black Democrat.

Black Democratic leaders in Maryland say that racially tinged attacks against Lt. Gov. Michael S. Steele in his bid for the U.S. Senate are fair because he is a conservative Republican.

Such attacks against the first black man to win a statewide election in Maryland include pelting him with Oreo cookies during a campaign appearance, calling him an “Uncle Tom” and depicting him as a black-faced minstrel on a liberal Web log.

He achieved getting elected President something only 43 others had achieved. The American people were perfectly aware of his credentials and overwhelmingly preferred him to the Republican alternative

And you're proud of this?

I wouldn't be.

We treated the presidency like it was an season of American Idol. Let's reject the war hero with over 40 years of solid experience in the military and government for this guy who looks nice and makes us feel better about ourselves, even though he has no experience....

Sorry, it isn't a good thing at all, and we are paying the price for it now.

It went beyond not electing an ancient war hero. It went to refuting Republican policies that got us engaged in two wars. It went to refuting Republican policies that caused the worst recession in 70 years

Obama offered a revised strategy in Iraq and Afghanistan, he offered a Health Care Program, he offered a way to avoid a nationwide depression........He delivered

Wait I thought Republicans were obstructionists, that Democrats under Obama-Pelosi-Reed couldn't possibly get anything done? Nice to see the left acknowledge the policies Obama was able to push: bank regulations, credit card policies, forclosure bailouts, Obamacare, Cash for Clunkers, etc . . . . until Republicans obtained control of the House and put on the brakes to all this Big Government spending.

Sorry, but any reason you gave don't justify it.

Obama bought the damned thing with taxpayer cash.

He offered them money and they took it.

Going back and looking at what happened......Obama had just been embarrassed by losing the Olympic bid so within a few days the Nobel suckasses notify us that Obama won. So Obama's failure is erased by his Nobel success.

The first question was....What The Fuck For???? For giving speeches????

The Nobel Committee has long recognized racism as an impediment to world peace. Previous awards to Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu show that
