Marco Rubio was on TV today saying "We're gonna win!" Huh ???

Is this the poster boy for delusion or what ? Four primaries have gone by and he hasn't won a single one. His prospects for future primaries don't look all that good either. Even in his home state of Florida (99 delegates), Donald Trump is ahead of him in the polls by a landslide (40 to 13).

Super Tuesday is shaping up to be really big for Trump (maybe even sweep). Trump's only danger is Texas (Cruz homestate) where Cruz holds a slim lead over Trump. Rubio claims that it's all going to go his way when the other candidates drop out, and it becomes just a 2 man race. There's a few problems with that. One candidate (Jeb Bush) just DID drop out, and despite having policies similar to Rubio, it doesn't look like Rubio got much from Bush's voters, in the Nevada primary. Trump trounced Rubio 46 to 24.

So with Bush gone, what candidate dropping out might Rubio pick up votes from ? Most likely is Kasich (another immigration amnesty advocate). Problem there is Kasich, like Bush, doesn't have much support. He's very low in the polls, doesn't have many voters to give to Rubio, nor does he show any signs of quitting very soon. And "soon" is an important word. The longer Kasich stays in, the more primaries go by with Rubio not getting his voters.

Then we have Carson & Cruz. Both of them are strong in the fight against Muslim terrorism/Islamization and illegal immigration, and their voters aren't likely to go to Marco "Gang of 8" Rubio. If anything, drop outs of them will be whopping big increases for Donald Trump. Frankly, Rubio has practically ZERO chance of winning the nomination, but if he wants to go around claiming he's going to win, hey, no law against it, right ?
