Mornin JimH !! might be off topic but all this hate on Russia , I don't understand it . Russia is a big strong Christian country Orthodox Catholic or Greek Orthodox but Christian . Seems to me that its best for the USA to be friends with Christian Russia rather than ANY muslim land on earth isn't ?? I really hate all this talk about putin supporting Trump it plays on old people's cold war fears, for the cheap attack line of "the russians are coming" It backfires because people dont see russia as the geopolitical militarized nation that it is, but as the USSR, as socialism, as communism. Which if they are indeed told they need to be afraid of again, they will certainly not appoint left wing Hillary Clinton, they would appoint Reagan. Which Trump emulates by copying his slogan....depsite having the support of Russia and a Slovenian born wife with proposals to build a wall bigger than the one reagan apparently knocked down with his bare fists

This is a rightward turn in political cycles. When Obama took office, he overreached to the left. I will be the first to admit that. Now that Trump will soon have the reins, he and the GOP Congress will overreach to the right. It is the way the US has been moving for decades. It will not change.

I wish Trump luck and I hope he understands that if he goes too far to the right, he will feel the pain, eventually. We are not Russia and if we reach an accord with them, it will be very dangerous.
