But back to my issue, I have never seen one of the car restoration shows say, "Hey, GOODY! This car was rustrproofed when it was new. Restoring it will be a SNAP!"
More often, the cars were born and lived in Arizona, Texas, SoCal, and similar venues, so while they might have rusted a bit, there is enough of a car remaining to restore. Has anyone reading this ever encountered an old car that seems to have survived the years because of rust proofing? I haven't.
