In case you were sleeping that day, our entire form of government is Republican.

We are, after all, a Constitutional Republic.

So when you say "hold republican government accountable", you are speaking about every aspect of government.

They are to try and distract the public from the crime, inflation and gas price disaster that is hitting them in hopes it will limit the loses the Democrats are looking at in November. It does not appear to be working.
