That isn't the point. He at least opens himself up to criticism when he puts himself in front of journalist to answer questions, or appears with one to do an interview. When politicians do that they open themselves up to public scrutiny and the public can decide if they are honest or dishonest, informed or misinformed. Palin does not do that. Her thing is talking points and outragious comments that never qet follow up questions. The so called hate for Palin coming from the left is caused by the belief that she is a con artist that has little actual knowledge about serious topics. They view her as unqualified and dangerous as a national leader. They claim she misinforms her supporters. Her refusal to face questions is a way for her to escape accountability for her comments and the misinformation that is the basis for many of her so called "beliefs".
