Juan Toscano, age 34 was questioned by detectives and admitted he shot and killed someone at the home in connection to a drug deal.
Toscano told police the body was removed from the residence by other people. Toscano was arrested on murder charges.
Officers also discovered more evidence that led them to Javier Ontiveros, age 25, Johnny Vega, age 29, and Edrich Esquer-Rubio, age 21 on October 5, 2022.
Ontiveros tried to escape from police custody while being interviewed but was quickly apprehended.
All three were arrested and booked into Kern County jail. Vega is facing robbery, kidnapping, and murder charges.
