U.S. Senate Rejects The Impeachment from the House of Representatives due to the fact that it is Illegitimate because the House never held a vote...forces House Democrats - to include those 'vulnerable' - to either officially going on record as being for Impeachment or drop it....?!
And show us where in the constitution a full vote of the House is necessary to conduct an impeachment inquiry.
Constitution of the United States - We the People
Show us. Don't tell us.
Can John Roberts throw the trial out like a normal judge can do with a regular trial?Should the House impeach Trump, what will likely happen is the Republican Senate will refuse to conduct a trial – again, further proof of the right’s contempt for the Constitution, our democratic institutions, and the will of the people.I will repeat, the Constitution It is very explicit... Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution states: "The House of Representatives shall [choose] their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment."
Read the Constitution, it explicitly states the "House of Representatives shall" and "sole power" not piglosie will...
There is nothing ambiguous about how it is written.. It requires consent of the HOR.
pay attention.. "The House of Representatives ... shall have the sole Power of Impeachment."
Now read it slowly.... If the House of Representatives has the sole power, how do they start?
Please tell me how you can start impeachment anything without the consent of the HOR.
DO YOU HAVE CONSENT OF THE HOR where SOLE POWER TO IMPEACH RESIDES?
Yes or No
The President can defend himself in the Senate trial stupidThe thing that gets me is the denial of equal access to mount a defense of the president by Democrats. Any prosecutor who does this in any other court in the land is charged with proescutorial misconduct. The denial of access to all information, the denial of access to witnesses and the ability to depose and subpoena records, etc... Pelosie and her chiefs are denying it all to republicans. The democrats know if they hold a vote to authorize the process Republicans get access to everything and get subpoena powers outside of the Democrat control.Would be interesting.
Its all being denied by democrats today and its going to end badly for them..
The poster is an idiot. They have no clue what the Constitution means. They can not discern a single person from the body of members..It doesn't have to say "The full House". It says "The House". It doesn't say "the Speaker and a highly partisan committee chairman". "The House" means "The House", ALL OF IT. I have no doubt the left will continue to ignore the Constitution anyway but if they think the American people won't object to their tactics, they're making a mistake and will pay dearly for it in 2020.I will repeat, the Constitution It is very explicit... Well Moron, that is not how impeachment works. Those who oppose the majority get to have the same powers as the majority to mount a defense in the House Of Representatives as it is a DELIBERATIVE BODY that requires information from both sides of the issue. IT IS NOT A GRAND JURY where the accused has no representation. The President can defend himself in the Senate trial stupidThe thing that gets me is the denial of equal access to mount a defense of the president by Democrats. The House is essentially acting as a Grand Jury.
Ask your legal eagle “friends” if they know what a Grand Jury is
Yes he can...Can John Roberts throw the trial out like a normal judge can do with a regular trial?Should the House impeach Trump, what will likely happen is the Republican Senate will refuse to conduct a trial – again, further proof of the right’s contempt for the Constitution, our democratic institutions, and the will of the people.I will repeat, the Constitution It is very explicit... The minority gets a VOTE...as does the majority. All members do.Well Moron, that is not how impeachment works. But he will not. He will call a vote to dismiss it with prejudice allowing the Senate the final say under the constitutional mandate. The Impeachment will become null and void. The house democrats will be exposed for the imbecilic fools they are.
Quite babbling this lie. YOU HAVE BEEN SHOWN THE VERBIAGE AND WHY IT MUST OCCUR>!It doesn't have to say "The full House". It says "The House". It doesn't say "the Speaker and a highly partisan committee chairman". "The House" means "The House", ALL OF IT. Yes or no?
Then it will be remarkably easy for you to quote the constitution saying that a full vote of the house is necessary to open an impeachment inquiry.
Please do so.
Telling this lie over and over doesn't make it true!
None of this has been doneLOL... It is implied...An impeachment inquiry is not an impeachment it's just part of the process.
Then you admit that there is no where in the constitution that a full house vote is required for an impeachment inquiry.
Thank you.
Says you, citing you.
No where in the constitution itself does it say that an impeachment inquiry requires a full vote of the House.
And the house isn't bound to what YOU insist the constitution is supposed to mean, and any extra-constittional requirement that you make up. Constitutionally, you're nobody, Billy.
Get used to the idea
The House's Role
The House brings impeachment charges against federal officials as part of its oversight and investigatory responsibilities. Individual Members of the House can introduce impeachment resolutions like ordinary bills, or the House could initiate proceedings by passing a resolution authorizing an inquiry. The Committee on the Judiciary ordinarily has jurisdiction over impeachments, but special committees investigated charges before the Judiciary Committee was created in 1813. The committee then chooses whether to pursue articles of impeachment against the accused official and report them to the full House. If the articles are adopted (by simple majority vote), the House appoints Members by resolution to manage the ensuing Senate trial on its behalf. These managers act as prosecutors in the Senate and are usually members of the Judiciary Committee. The number of managers has varied across impeachment trials but has traditionally been an odd number. The partisan composition of managers has also varied depending on the nature of the impeachment, but the managers, by definition, always support the House’s impeachment action.

The house is bound by its constitutional requirements. And there is no constitutional requirement to vote on an impeachment inquiry.
A Grand jury of idiots can indict a ham sandwich.. The House is one big lot of idiots... The Constitution demands that the house have sole power but a few in the house seem to think they dont have to get consent... Its all going to back fire..

I don't fully blame the Left.
ALL of this could EASILY have been avoided .......The right GAVE the House to the Left...asking for it.
If only Republicans had gotten off their lazy asses and voted in the midterms.
Also, Republicans voluntarily QUIT in mass numbers from the House and that hurt.
So, it seems "Republicans" were as complicit in this entire mess as the democrats are. Republicans grabbed ankles, Democrats shoved it where the Sun doesn't shine.
All that is required for evil men to prevail is for Lazy republicans to do NOTHING......not even vote.

Right they are bound to not hide their vote from the voters
They are bound to make only 1 vote each which keeps all votes equal
Only a full house voting on any action can be constitutional !!!

John Roberts is shaking in his boots
This nation of men disagreeing with his vote with the liberals to make a 5-4 win will not stand
Roberts will get locked up by the majority of the men who judges it different
